I have been investigating my family history since 1985, when my mom's uncle shared photos of my 3great, 2great, & great grandparents. Dad & I spent his 50th birthday visiting his cousins in Montana and Canada, where everyone shared, though each told us the others wouldn't. I have had the luck to find other family members also interested in genealogy; now I have over 40 albums filled with photos, documents, letters, etc. I follow collateral lines way too far, but have connected with many cousins because of this. I've done my share of cemetery exploration and LOVE the ideas behind this site.
