Bio and Links
Bio Photo Each time I create a memorial I delight in thinking that it may someday provide valuable information to a genealogist or comfort to a loved one.

Transfers - Please use the "Edit" tab on the memorial, send a "Suggest any other correction" message including your "ID number", I'm more than happy to transfer memorials to their RELATIVES, as per FAG rules.

If FAMILY MEMBERS wish to have a memorial deleted I will do so, no questions asked.

Some dates/names on the headstones are hard to read. If you can help, please click the Edit tab at the top and input the changes. Your assistance would be greatly appreciated in the completion of "Unknown" and incomplete memorials.

Volunteer contributors spend countless hours creating memorials after visiting cemeteries, photographing headstones and obtaining burial information. I am sure everyone would like to know their efforts are appreciated. I know I do.

FROM FAG RULES:
"Any contributor can upload an appropriate photo to any memorial regardless of who manages the page. No permission from the memorial manager is needed. However, if there is already a photo of the headstone, do not add a second similar photo unless the original is of poor quality and the new photo is dramatically better. "

RE: Kitty Smith
Thanks for the prompt reply, Yvonne. I'm not sure how best to handle cremations in Findagrave when ashes are not buried at the crematorium. It seems like a hole in the system. It always seems wrong to me to have two entries for one person. What would you think about adding the Cremation information in the Inscription Note section? There must be plenty of examples in the system, but I haven't noticed one yet.

RE: CM Curley
Sorry, I must have copied it wrong. I can't send it through the edit suggestion, because it is not a memorial that you own, just one you added a photo to. I believe the correct number is 28726204. Sorry for the mix-up before! Thank you for any additional info you can give me on the writing on the side of the stone.

Thank you for the photo you added to CM Curley #117253943. Can you tell me if you also have a photo of the side of that stone? It looks like there is another name on the side and I'm wondering if it is his wife or a different relative. Thanks!

RE: Manuel F. Gardunio
Here is where he is buried. He is buried in Truchas, NM, which is where was listed on the headstone request, but the cemetery is different.

You can follow this link:
http://www.findagrave.com/cgi-bin/fg.cgi?page=gr&GSln=Garduno&GSfn=Manuel&GSmn=F&GSbyrel=all&GSdyrel=all&GSob=n&GRid=84644666&df=all&

or search for Manuel F. Garduno - no "I".

RE: Manuel F. Gardunio
Dear Bear Hugs,

Thank you for your prompt reply. I suppose it's possible he is not buried in Rosario Cemetery in Santa Fe. I saw on a form requesting a military headstone that it was to be shipped to Rosario Cemetery in Truchas, NM. Well, I put him in Rosario Cemetery in Santa Fe.

I see that Rio Arriba County and Santa Fe County are a couple of hours apart, so I'm starting to think he's not buried in Santa Fe, but near Truchas, NM.

The website showing the headstone order is
https://familysearch.org/pal:/MM9.3.1/TH-1951-21004-24295-59?cc=1916249. I think I will modify the cemetery to unknown for the time-being.

It looks like there might have been a Rosario Cemetery near Truchas, NM at one time, but perhaps may have changed its name.

Thank you for your efforts!

Nasty, cold, cloudy, wet weather here in Denver. Hope your weather is better.

Thanks again,

Bryan
