There is a duplicate of your memorial that was entered after yours. However, it is entered in a different cemetery. Duplicate is #36954897. (Was researching my ggreat-grandmother and found this. Can you verify which cemetry so I can add it to my family information? Thanks.

RE: Betsey Morrow
I'm familiar with Painted Hills - they have a lot of stuff. Just not anything about the relatives I seek. They came from nowhere, lived almost nowhere, and were eventually beamed up again.

You wrote, ~ What part of New York are you looking in? Cattaraugus County by chance? ~

I have looked through Cattaraugus, and everything I could find for Erie; in fact, all but a couple of counties in New York because various relatives were in one or the other place. If there is anything else that could be relevant, it's obscure, and probably held at a local level. A cousin took a trip out there several years ago, but was overwhelmed by the difficulties.. it seems it's not easy finding out who has anything that would bear on the situation, without a great deal of time and effort. Perhaps I shouldn't say it, but I also found there is (or was) some reluctance on the part of the record holders to part with much of their information, at any price. Other people have come away with the same impression, they tell me. It's just like my relatives, to live where the courthouse burns down, or a flood takes out all the vital records, or one curmudgeon has them in his attic and won't bring them out! I reached my wits' end years ago, so I'm not actively searching in those areas anymore. Lately I pin my hopes on the good folks who are taking photos in the cemeteries - I learn quite a bit that way, with minimum difficulty :)

RE: Betsey Morrow
Hi, I'm not a direct descendant of John and Betsey Morrow, but they are in my tree. Joseph Hammond had a son Abraham who married one of my relatives. I spend quite a bit of time trying to find applicable things out of New York, usually a fruitless search :/

Lerado Cem - Hattie Burtram
Many thanks for getting the headstone pic for Hattie Fannie (Krob) Burtram onto Find A Grave. I love to see them and this one is great. The stones sure help when verifying family info.

I wonder if you'd allow me to use the pic in the family research, with credit, of course?

Thank you for the photos of their headstones. Much appreciated! Between James obit & photo of his headstone posted on his memorial this was enough to get the misspelling of his last name corrected! Thank you :)
