Started researching the family roots about 1990. researching the names ROBERTSON, WAGGONER, DECKARD, SEXTON, HAMMOND, ALEXANDER, BROWN, SWANGO, GIBSON, COWLES, TAYLOR, VANCE, AND GRAMLIN. Have just recently started taking digital cemetery pictures of stones to add to family tree collections. |
I decided to start contributing these pictures on line to share with other's in search of these Ancestors.
These bios and pictures may not be published for sale or sumitted to websites that charge a subscription.
Please send any corrections or pictures via "EDIT" button and I will correct or add to these collections and give credit to the person submitting. If you are a family member of one of my postings and would like ownership to add bios or pictures feel free to do so.
These entries are dedicated to our two sons, grandchildren and future generations in search of their roots.

DO NOT USE BLEACH TO CLEAN WHITE MILITARY STONES AS IT WILL TURN THEM YELLOW AND THE DAMAGE CANNOT BE UNDONE.

Buried Hiseyville Cemetery, Hiseyville, Kentucky per Clark County, Indiana Death Records Book 1965, page 39:
Rebecca Lee Robertson
died 18 September 1965, Jeffersonville, Clark County, Indiana
age 87 years
I know the spellings for the cemetery where her husband is located and the cemetery listed above are different, however, I believe they are the same. If you would like a copy of the record,, please let me know and I will email it to you.
Hope this was helpful

Good afternoon Janet. I went to Walnut Ridge and took some photos of the family and posted one when I received a noticed from Find a Grave saying that there was a memorial to them already. I was wondering if I could have their memorials of Ronald L. Elsea, his parents and his brother James all in section S.They were my second family and would appreiate it very much if you would transfer them to me.
Have a good day
|Dorothy E. Hare Wigginton||Thank you|
Thank you for the posting of Sarah Ann Thompson memorial. She is sister to Caroline Cowles Roller Cook. Caroline was married to my grandmother's brother, Theodore Jif Roller. The information you posted from the family bible gave me the date for my great uncle, Theodore and Caroline's marriage. I had the year correct. As of today, 6 Sep 2014 I spoke with Theodore and Caroline's daughter, Ruby. Ruby is legally blind, lives alone and is 98 years old. She is such a delight to talk with and has such good recall. Ruby is Sarah's niece.
Thank You for the updates.

You & I have a duplicate of this Find A Grave! I was wondering if you could look at mine 106596068 then consider deleting yours because this was a Uncle of mine plus I have more information on him. Thank you for your consideration in this matter!
IndianaPal, Phyllis E. Smith
The transfer of Angela is greatly appreciated.
