Bio and Links
I, too, began family research nearly forty years ago, before the internet exploded our options and resources. Now that I've found Find A Grave, I've become addicted to preserving the information found on older monuments that are weathering away and linking families together.

Most of my memorials involve extensions of my (huge) family lines, Civil War soldiers, and other older fragile monuments.

My own lines include BAUMAN, BIRI, BONE, DALTON, JOLLY, LaROSE, MAYBERRY, NAEGER, RICE, STOREY, and TONGUAY in Missouri counties Madison, Perry, Ste. Genevieve, St. Francois, Washington,

Thank you to all the volunteers before me who have posted information on elusive family members.

Tranfers
Hi Judy,

Please do not transfer anymore memorials to me unless I have requested them. I have recently been diagnosed with breast cancer and I don't want anymore memorials than I can handle at this point. If you read my profile page you'll see that I have made my request known there.

Thanks!
Julie

Jefferson Barracks Hospital records
I wonder if it would be possible to get a copy of the hospital records for Pvt Charles Spannieth (really Spannuth), FindAGrave #66121396. He was my great-great-grandfather and died in the Civil War.

Thanks for your contribution to this database!
