~~~Precious Gems~~~
If your heart feels heavy,
It may be weighted down,
With the many precious gems
You fail to pass around.
Diamonds are the loving words
You always leave unsaid.
Rubies are the seeds of joy
That you refuse to spread.
Emerald are the helping hands
Only offered grudgingly.
Sapphires are alms not given
To ease a fellowman's need.
Changing won't be easy
And it may even smart.
When you begin to mine those gems
Embedded in your heart.
It will take a lot of practice
Each and every day,
Learning that neglected art
Of giving yourself away.
First there'll be a secret fear
You may be refused,
Or sometimes deep resentments
That you are being used.
But as you sow your precious gems
Along life's many miles,
You'll notice how they sparkle
In people's happy smiles.
And your heart that was so heavy
Will grow to twice its size,
But be as light as a bird in flight
As it soars up to the skies.
"Transfers: I am not one of
those people who refuse to
transfer in or out of guidelines.
State up front how and why you
feel you should be the manager
of the memorial. I will use
my discretion, but as a general
Ask and ye shall receive, unless
you're 1 of those people who don't
transfer out of guidelines".
(I borrowed this from T.V.F.T.H)
If you are one of those people
the above poem is for you,
please read it and take it to
heart. I also don't like
veiled threats. So please don't
do that. It is so ugly.
For transfer request, please go
to edit. It will make it
easier for both of us.
If you have sent a correction
addition etc. please be patient,
and give me thirty days, to take
care of your request.
I am going to remove my e-mail
address, as I continue to receive
Transfers,corrections, additions
thru there, rather than thru edit
as I have requested above. Please
be sure to include the memorial
number as it is time consuming to
for members to have to look it up,
when you could just as easily send it.
Please do not post a death certificate
or an obituary in the photo section
on any of the memorials I manage.
The obituary should be typed and
submitted to be entered in the bio.
We want the memorials of those we
loved to be as nice as possible.
Xavior Stewart
My family owns the Brown Family Cemetery (Scioto County, Ohio) and only our relatives are buried there. We have never heard of Xavior Stewart and he is not buried in our cemetery. There are many cemeteries named "Brown" or "Brown Family" perhaps Mr. Stewart is interred in one of those. For the sake of historical accuracy, please remove his name from our "Brown Family Cemetery". Thank you very much.
"Work in Progress"
You often post "Work in Progress" on memorial pages. Do you have a time frame that you abide by to complete them?
Levi Faulkner
Hi Janet,
I just posted a memorial for Levi T Faulkner in Sunset Hill Cemetery, Warrensburg that might duplicate yours for Levi F Faulkner in this cemetery. Would you mind taking a look? If you think they are duplicates then I will take my page down and post the tombstone to your page.
Best regards,
Jay Raveill
Voth grave with no dates.
I HAVE LOOKED FOR YEARS FOR THE GRAVE OF A GREAT-AUNT, Eva Voth Schmidt. She died in Aurora in l936. Could the grave with no dates be hers? Is it photographed?
Zethel Allen #80568771
I've never asked anyone to do this before, and please don't take offense, but would you please delete the photo you posted for Zethel Allen #80568771. The photo is terribly unflattering of her. I hope sometime down the line her family can find a good photo of her.
Thank you.
regarding memorial 87230382
You posted a memorial for James Hubert Webb and asked how he was related to Woodrow Webb. They are brothers. They appear together in the 1930 census - but with the last name of McClusky. Their father had died, their mother had remarried to Barney Washington McClusky. This is a duplicate memorial for 80305644.
