Are you related to the Journey's (Clinton Dale Journey, James Hubbard Journey, Truman Monroe and Addie W Journey). I am looking for the Grave of their Grandmother Nancy Adda Duke Brown. In 1940 she was living in Fannin, TX with Clinton Dale and Addie Journey). They moved to California were they were buried but I can't find their grandmother. Can you help?
Thanks (I am related to Amanda Brown Pearson, Robert Hubbard Brown's sister, he married Nancy Adda Duke Brown).

Robert Swift is my dad. Thank you for posting his information.
I did not know, until I saw this posting, that they had his middle name spelled incorrectly on his headstone.
Anybody have any idea how I can get this fixed?

Thank you! I should have looked more carefully. You don't need to post my entire comment, just her parents names would be fine. If you want to include a bio, it can be this (or any segment, but please include the source):
Stanley Earl Hedge was born in 1897 at Banner Mine in Oregon Gulch near Oroville in Butte County, California to William Thomas Ulysses and Emma Irene (Strang) Hedge. In 1919 Stanley’s sister Violet Irene Hedge married William Sherman Jamison, whose parents lived at Weed. When Stanley and Violet were little, their father was a miner, but by 1920, he was a laborer for a lumber mill at Stirling City, Butte County, as were Stanley and his younger brother Melbourne.
Stanley Hedge married Pearl Saunders around 1925. Matilda Pearl Saunders was born at California to John and Anna Margaret “Maggie” (Quay) Saunders. Pearl’s father died before she was eight years old, and her mother was a laundress to support them. Maggie and Pearl lived at Kimshew in Butte County in 1910, and at Chico in 1920.
By 1926 Stanley and Pearl (Saunders) Hedge moved to Weed where she was a teacher at Weed Grammar School and he was a lumberman. Stanley and Pearl lived at No. 8 Shasta Avenue in 1930 when he was a laborer at the lumber yard. Pearl Hedge is listed as having no occupation in the 1930 census, but she was a popular teacher at Weed Grammar School from 1926 until at least 1946. One of her students, Nelba (Ball) Hayes, recalled, "I remember her because she made us learn to save everything. If we had extra space on a
paper, we would practice spelling. This helped me in my adult life." Alford Linville also had her for a teacher. He said, “Pearl Hedge taught me in the third grade. She was a pretty nice teacher, she wasn’t too strict."
Stanley Hedge was a grader on the green chain in 1933 when he earned a nice raise from 401⁄2 to 521⁄2 cents an hour. He still graded lumber in 1935 when he received a raise from 671⁄2 to 721⁄2 cents an hour. Stanley and Pearl (Saunders) Hedge lived at No. 8 Shasta Avenue from 1930 until 1953, probably when he retired.
After their retirement, Pearl and Stanley returned to Butte County, where Pearl (Saunders) Hedge died in 1969, and Stanley Earl Hedge died in 1974.

I just read the information that you had attached for my father, Wallace Edward Gregory. Thank you so much for your work on this. It is truly appreciated!

I don't mind if you transfer it to me--you created it, so it's completely up to you. I'm fine either way. :)
