For 44 years I stayed as far away from cemeteries as possible, then I decided to find out about my grandfather's family.|
Any genealogist can tell you the rest.
I have taken it upon myself to "adopt" a couple cemeteries with the intention of posting every headstone in them. Therefore, I have created a lot of memorial pages for people I have never met. If I have a memorial page for a member of your family, simply ask and I will turn it over to you. Please tell me your relationship in your request.

Thank you for taking such beautiful photos of this cemetery. I have recently discovered that I have several relatives buried there in unmarked graves. I took the liberty of uploading your cemetery photos to their memorials, giving you photo credits, and then it occurred to me that perhaps that's not the proper protocol. I don't know what the proper protocol is and I don't find it. The cemetery has no default photo, so I don't get one automatically.
Your guidance would be appreciated. Thank you! :)

Gary, I checked with my expert and she assures me we do not gave a Don in our Hansen tree. Sorry.

Oops, I mean Don.

Thank you so much Gary. I do not know Gary. I will ask my cousin however as she once had a family tree going.

I am John Hansen (Find A Grave member # 48086066)
You currently manage two family members – my uncle and aunt. Would you be willing to transfer management of them over to me? (see below)
Thank you for your consideration. - John

Gary I am 78 and I am checking & updating all my dave-xxx WorldConnect files and dumping paper. My kids do not want to empty my house so I am doing it. My first Creque is my 3rd great grandmother, who married a John Hamilton in 1816 in NJ. Dorothy Crykei of French descent was one of my brick walls. About 30 years ago I found the marriage for John and started collecting paper. I am not LDS but their local Family History Center people were nice. I got a desktop and PAF but no space or internet so I had lots of 6 inch foppies and one was named Crikei where I put data from the paper I had written and received.
I now have lots of dave-xxx's to try to keep up to date.

Thank you Gary for responding. I also do not pass out email addresses. You can send out RootsWeb.com, it's free and is now owned by Ancestry who copies all the data in WorldConnect files (including my dave-creque) from RootsWeb and puts it in Ancestry. Many years ago RootsWeb was broke and Ancestry took it over and promised to keep it free. Ancestry has kept updating, expanding and improving RootsWeb and kept it free.
Creque is French pronounced Creekee and is read and spelled all sorts of ways, swiching e's & i's and q's & g's. I have found Crane, Coigne & ...
If you need anything check RootsWeb.com first but check for sources.

Your cemetery photo at Graceland is now being used as a headstone photo for Mr. Koker. Unfortunately Mr. Koker's memorial does not come up in a search for memorials without headstone photos at Graceland, if a volunteer tries to add some at this cemetery.
I just wanted you to be aware.. Thank you for your time.
Thanks for the reply regarding Civil War soldier Pvt John W. Feezle. I'm not kin, just a volunteer that browses various cemeteries on findagrave.com and transcibes info onto
www. suvcwdb.org. I served in USAF from 1959 to 1963.
Regarding John W. Feezel, mem #59770596 in Campground Cem., Coles Co, IL...the regimental roster for the 123rd IL Infantry, Co D does not list his name.
There was a Jacob Feezil, born in Beaver Co, PA, enlisted 9 Dec 1861 in the 62nd IL Infantry, Co K. :Sick in hospital at Memphis, TN since 1 Jul 1863; discharged 10 April 1865".
You show Jacob as John's father; could it be that both were soldiers in the Civil War?
National Park Service records show John W. Feezle in the 62nd IL Infantry, Co K.
