Grave Transfer
Would you be so kind as to transfer ownership of grave #14426669 of J Gordon Wcislo? He is my grandfather. Thank you.

I wanted to let you know that on Sunday June 29th, St John UCC will be hosting Pioneer Day on church grounds from 9:30 to 4:00 including cemetery walks. I'm trying to get as many people with ties to the cemetery to attend. Were are digging deeper into the history of all the graves and need help from those tied to it. I can send you a pdf of the event info if you'd like.

Explanation for edit requests. Marietta (Heath) Witherspoon was first married to Rev. Frederick Witherspoon. Their son Fredrick Witherspoon #14526642 died in the civil war. Marietta 2nd married Isaac Lewis Olmstead. I don't have knowledge of her 1st husband's memorial to link wife and son to him. Her obituary is a bit confusing as to which children were from which marriage.

RE: Veronica at Dixon
Hi! Thank you for updating the memorial. While obviously not the happiest of places, at least all 2,189 who are buried there are now at peace.

It was interesting to read about Mr. Mabley and what he was able to do to bring the severely disabled a much greater measure of dignity and a chance to lead a productive life instead of a life chained to a bed or worse. I am hoping to obtain the records for all of the burials and to put them online. They all deserve to be remembered.

I hope and pray that God will bring you peace and happiness in your journey with your child.

The Unknown married to Benjamin Cawood was a woman by the name of Mary "Polly" McNew. She was born 10 APR 1790 in Washington County, Virginia. She was the daughter of Edward McNew and his wife Nancy. Sorry I don't know Nancy's maiden name.

Thank you for all you do for genealogists like me who can not get to Virginia to research.

Do you know the outcome of the trial of the four accused of her murder? Was her husband convicted? She was my husband's GGGG aunt.
