I have been researching my family tree since 2000. I was born in Toronto Ohio and lived there until the age of 12. We moved to Oakland California where I attended Junior and Senior High. I was married in 1961 and had 2 children. In 1976 we moved to Grass Valley, California. I am still in that area, but am single now.

Dana,

It didn't occur to ask if you were related to her.

Dana,
I was wondering if you would consider transferring her to me. I have been searching for her and she is the last of my greatgrandfathers siblings that I didn't have verifiable information until you created the memorial.
Thank you for taking the time to research and create the memorials.

Thank you for the transfer of my Aunt Dorothy's memorial. My mother would have liked to have seen it. I will begin working on it.

Dana, I am a new volunteer to FindaGrave and was surprised to find my Aunt Dorothy. I remember being at her funeral. With your permission I would like to maintain her memorial so that I can add information and connect family members. My mother, her sister, Verla Brady just died on August 25, 2014. Also, I am from the Ohio Valley and know Toronto, Ohio very well. Thanks for the possible transfer. #48544544

Thank you Dana. I have added his brother and linked them all to their parents and siblings. They are a family now. Thank you so much.

Dana, I tried to respond to your email, but I got an antispam message. When I replied to that it kicked back saying my message was no longer available. Anyway, here is what my email said:

Thank you so much, that is so nice of you to offer. And I thank you for going to all this trouble for one who is not related to you. I really appreciate it. These babies were my mother's brothers. She never knew them since she was born in 1925. The interesting thing is no one in the family knew had their names right, nor the story of their births/deaths. Everyone thought their names were Harold and and Horace and that they died because they caught pneumonia because of an inattentive nurse. I wish my mother were still alive to know the truth.

Thank you again.

Thanks, yes I did recently find both of their certificates on family search which helped to put to rest some family folklore about the boys. But I didn't see the name of the cemetery on the certificate. That is why I was excited to think that maybe you might have had some more info. I'll have to see if I can get over to the cemetery now that I know what it is called. Thanks for your help.
