Anna Sauter
Found the Sauter stone, but "Anna" isn't on it. Just Jennie, Elmyre, Maggie, and John. Perhaps "Anna" is next to them, in an unmarked grave? There are small, name-marker stones for John and Jennie, and Anna's might be like theirs. So I just took a photo of the "Sauter" name. The photo I took of the grave, itself, didn't turn out on my cellphone camera. Darn technology!!! :P

RE: Memorial Transfer
Walter's son John Henry is my great grandfather! Then his son Gerald is my grandfather, and then his daughter Diane is my mother. Nice to meet you distant cousin! I'm originally from the Appleton area as well. I was wondering if you have come across my great grandfather John Henry's headstone at all. I myself have not visited St. Johns cemetery in awhile. Do you know if the church has the cemetery records there or if they are somewhere else? Nice to meet a fellow Van Asten on here!

Memorial Transfer
Hi Sarah I was wondering if you wouldn't mind transfering my third great grandfather to me. Thank you for your time and efforts.

You're very welcome for the photos, Sarah. Yes, I'm always a bit dissappointed for the requester when I find an unmarked spot. Try to do my best to designate the location.

RE: Huelsbeck Family
Thank you so much Sarah! I really do appreciate it! I will give you complete credit on your photos! I am not directly related to the Huelsbecks. Margaret Brickler Huelsbeck is my Great Grand Aunt and she married Hubert Huelsbeck and I want to document her family on my tree. I have a copy of the last will and testament of her father Michael Brickler dated from 1862 and that was the way I found out who she was married to! Thanks again!!! Happy Hunting!!!! Huelsbeck Family
Hello Sarah, Could I please have permission to use your photos of the Huelsbeck family on my family tree? Margaret BRICKLER HUELSBECK is my Great Grand Aunt on my paternal side of the family. Are you related to the Huelsbecks or Bricklers? Thank you so much! Lisa in Crivitz, WI

Ok. I'm glad you put a photo in, for her. No, I'm not related. I'm on a"mission" to photograph all of St. Mary's; put memorials of everyone in there into Find A Grave, and put photos in the memorials. Whew! I've got to be "crazy"!?! Given that there are well over 3,000 people, in there, it is no small feat. (Find A Grave thinks the cemetery is 93% finished; HA! LOL. Not even close). The cemetery office gave me the entire index of the cemetery as they know of it, so I'm going by that as to who has memorials and/or photos.

Hi, I'm looking at the record for St. Mary's in Menasha, where she is supposed to be, according to the obit. in the memorial. It'd make sense that she's there, but she's not in the cemetery records--I have them all--but her parents, Henry and Louise, are. I will have to check on that.

RE: Walter Van Asten
Hi Sarah. My wife is Deb Belongea, daughter of Ed Belongea who married Marjorie Van Asten who's dad was Henry Van Asten, Nellie's brother. That makes her Nellie's great niece which is what you probably are to Henry. I'm glad someone related is taking care of it. I've searched and can't find a memorial for his wife, Catherine VanDehey Van Asten (Mar 22, 1865-Dec 26, 1919). I know she is buried at St John Cemetery in Little Chute. Would you want to create one then you would have the pair?
Nellie married Joseph Louis Vosters ... I have a list of their children (Catherine, Walter, Louis, Lawrence, John, Norbert, Herman, Margaret and Joseph. Which branch do you come from?
