Indexed old church records. Also, a member of the Shawnee Cemetery Society. I have worked under the Hire an Expert Program at Ancestry.com until it discontinued in 2011. In 2010 I traveled and stayed in Chelmsford, Essex County, England and Truro, and St. Austell, Cornwall, England for five weeks - researching, and touring the location where my Paternal Ancestors originated from and met living family members. Over the years I have been working on creating a 1918 death Index for Luzerne county, trying to complete this project over the years seems to be non-ending.

I have assisted in clean up and by also photographing old historic cemetery's namely Shupp's Cemetery, St. Vincent DePaul Cemetery and I have also visited many cemeteries for my clients and my family, by locating and photographing tombstones and or places of burials in these cemeteries.

I'm sorry, I know the "lingo" and still couldn't figure it out because I thought S1 stood for Section 1 and 46 the lot number so that's why I asked for the row number, lol. Anyway, I'm heading to the cemetery now so I'm so glad I checked my messages. I will get back to you later with a photo of either the headstone or burial site in Section S, Row 1, Lot 46, too funny!

Hi Mary,
Thanks for giving me a heads up, I appreciate it. Go ahead, you are certainly welcome to post my pictures. Are you related? Andrew was my great grandfather's brother.
Cheers,
Joan

Thank you so much for your tips!

If it is very large, I am afraid I will not have time to walk it all but it's worth a try.

The surnames are Hoban and Elward.

I am of course trying to find out if 2 Tourvilles' are buried with their husband/parents. That's why I want to call the cemetery.

I couldn't understand how come there was a picture and the request was still there. LOL.

I will be on my way to NC this week and will make a stop so I'll try to find the folks I am looking for and will print the photo requests in case I see some of them.

Is this cemetery very large? I studied the Google Earth image and there seems to be more than one cemetery. The people I am looking for are Irish so I'm pretty sure where they are supposed to be.

I know one tombstone was ordered for a WWI veteran so there should be at least one stone.

Thank you so much!

I am pretty sure of the name of the purchaser. If not, I will walk a lot!

Sacred Heart Cemetery in Plains, PA
Hi,

I saw that you made a photo request for Sacred Heart Cemetery and mentioned you called the parish. Would you have that phone number? I cannot seem to find where I should call. Thank you!
