As long as Jesse is buried in the same lot as Edna and John, I tend to think Edna was married to Jesse.

RE: Rose Harmon
I wish some of the family remembered Edna's maiden name. So far I know she married Edward Harmon but not sure how long they were married as he was 20 years older than she was. We know she had Rose Mary. Some think there may have been another daughter but not sure of that. Then she married John Gayton, a black man. After that, the family lost track of her. If I find out anything more I will let you know.

RE: Rose Harmon
yes, I saw that but didn't realize it was the Edna I was looking for. I agree she was much younger than Edward.

I found Rose - Edward's daughter. She was Rose Mary Harmon Calhoun. She married Ernest Calhoun and had 2 daughters, Ricky and Kimberly. She was born 8/1/1954 and just died on 3/1/2015. Her obituary is in the Olean Times Herald. They have her father as Art Harmon which is incorrect. She will be buried in Mt View Cemetery. Her mother was Edna and she remarried John Gayton. There are siblings listed in the paper but think they are all half siblings. I found John, Rose's stepfather, buried in same cemetery but didn't find Edna.

Would you consider transferring the following Find A Graves over to me:

They are my Grand Uncles and Grand Aunt, children of my Great GrandFather Isaac J. Treat.

Cynthia
thank you again
for taking pictures of the Knowlton graves in Rowlette, PA. I very much appreciate it. Living on the other side of the country I feared I would never get the chance to see them.
Thank you very much.

Do you have any info on 2 of mary Margaret Walters Putt's children? Sarah Putt Bodrieau (she was 12 in 1940 census) and Leon Putt? I found her other children but nothing on these 2.
thanks

RE: Alva
Mr Chris,

Yes, I greatly appreciate all the transfers of the Treats. Thank you so much for your help and research up to this point.
There is a cemetery in Elmira that has at least 3 Treats buried there that are family, but the cemetery is very run down, and I can't seem to get anyone to take an interest in restoring it.
Its a shame to see that history be taken back by "Mother Nature".

Respectfully,
Robert Treat
