My mother got me interested in Genealogy when I was 14 year old and we traveled to Illinois and Iowa looking for graves and records.
A co-worker got me started and excited about this website. My new 'fun' time. Thanks Kay I now have got my Husband, Scott, and Daughter, Andrea, in on the search for the past.
I am a wife and mother of three great kids who are growing up way to fast.
Family names I am working on are Hunt, Martin, Burke, Marquis and Story.

Thank you for processing all those Green edits in Polk county, NE. Hopefully it was ok to do them in one big batch and it is good to have them done.
I found out my line that includes Thomas Green, his wife Christiana and son Eden are not related to any other Green's in this county. I was attempting to see if anyone was connected to a C.W. Green, born about 1853 in Ohio who was Thomas' nephew and who was said to have died in Polk county before 1910. I found supporting sources on FamilySearch.org to establish family relationships and figured as long as I had done that much to go ahead and request the links here.
Thanks also for your contribution to F-a-G.

Thanks for the transfer of Walter and Esther Olson. You are a peach:)
|James Allen "Jim" Rogers||Phyllis A. Penton|
Thank you for posting the short bio about Phyllis. Her niece and mother, shown in the photo, are gone now too. Without many remaining family members who knew her, it just seemed appropriate that she not be forgotten.
Thank you for what you do.

I would like to use this photo on my family tree on Ancestry, do you allow?
|JoAnn Hovland||Nora and William's other son|
Could you please add my grandfather Lowell Merle Bennett to this page as Nora and William's son. He was born 26 May 1912 in Stromsburg and died 26 Sep 1970 in Larimer County, Colorado.
He is buried in the Grandview Cemetery in Fort Collins, Colorado.

HI Renae -
You had asked me where I had gotten the info for Martha's memorial. I had surveyed the cemetery several years ago and supplemented my survey with a transcription that was done by Grace Bagwell from cemetery records several years prior to that.
The transcription lists William Regan and Laura Carr as Martha's parents. I updated that information on her memorial. I have also added a couple of pictures. This is a very very old cemetery and many of the graves were either never marked or the markers have worn away or been broken or lost over the years. As you walk into the cemetery, there is a wall (which was unfortunately vandalized some time ago) that lists all of those buried in the cemetery under unmarked graves. I am not sure who placed the wall there, but there are quite a lot of names on it. During one of my visits to the cemetery, I had taken random photos of the wall to try to capture different groups of names. I did have a picture with Martha's name on it.
I am not sure what the discrepancy is with the baby Pearl Mae and this baby Martha. I have looked through my photos and transcriptions of the Old Manassa Cemetery, New Manassa Cemetery and Sanford Cemetery and see no other Regans listed - even as parents of a child.
I don't know if this has helped you or confused you, but this is all I know.
I hope that you can figure it out.
Have a good one! Judi

Are you related to or do you know someone related to the Sealey family in Polk County, Nebraska? I am looking for the burial spot of Ida's husband James Ray Sealey who appeared to die in the Denver Colorado area. I think his second wife was Mayme Rae Campbell Manker Sealey. I'm also looking for her burial spot in the Denver area.

Don't seem to have a way to add information. Who ever did the original information did not include the information that you sent. And if anything is to be added, I think the person who did the original enty will have to do it.
|Tracy Lichtenwalter||Block Cemetery|
No I am not related to anyone in Block Cemetery. I don't live that far from the cemetery and it wasn't on find a grave. Thought there might be somebody who would need the names of the people that are there so I listed it on Find A Grave. It is a little cemetery and it is taken care of. Not for sure who does the upkeep on it, but they do a very nice job!
Sorry, I couldn't be of anymore help.
