Photo Question
Hi Cathie,
I was searching for family members on findagrave and found your photo of Charles Jocoy #28781826. I was wondering where you found it. It's a very haunting photo. Charles is a distant counsin and part of a family that I've been researching.
Thank you

Rev. John W. Robinson
Which historical society is the repository for Rev. Robinson? I have quite a bit of data on this family.

John William Robinson
When he was about 50, Rev. Robinson began to write long reminiscences of his childhood & my gg grandfather published them in the Missouri Telegraph of Fulton. I have collected all of them, and through the years I have used them in many ways. They are beautifully conceived & written and full of the history of his family & Callaway county MO where he lived as a child. Do you descend from him? I have always hoped to make contact with his progeny who perhaps do not know of the legacy he left.

Moses Little #36683794
I can't tell you how much I appreciate your transferring Moses Little to me, and I can't thank you enough for doing all the work you have in the Littleton Cemetery. Moses' was the first burial, which I will note later as well as other information.

RE: 36683794 Moses Little
Thank you so much, Cathie, for responding. Moses and Sarah Cook Little are my third great grandparents. I was lucky enough to know my great grandmother, Sarah Little Riffle, who passed on to me her genealogical records and personal family treasures, including a wedding gift given to Moses and Sarah. I feel very connected to my Little family, and will gladly share personal letters that include mentions of your Ebenezer and Louise. Do you have Ebenezer's obituary, or would you like a copy?

I am just now in the process of entering family information into Find A Grave.

I don't foresee a trip to Iowa in my future and so appreciate your efforts and others who do such great work.

Thank you for all the wonderful work you have done entering people into the Littleton Cemetery. These are my direct ancestors and I am in the process of adding and correcting information on my various family members. I would so much appreciate your transferring my family to me so that I can continue to make the necessary changes so that the records are accurate.

Ray Neff in Missouri
Not sure if this is the same Ray Neff that you're looking for.
This Ray was single in 1917 (WWI Draft Card) and was married to Leona by 1920 (census).

It's possible that your Ray married Laura in 1914 and divorced before 1917......?

I just don't know.

RE: Elliott V. Smith Memorial # 41931599

No problem mentioning me. I mention contributions other people make to the memorials I create all the time.

Thanks and all the best, Barry

Elliott V. Smith Memorial # 41931599

True to your word you made the edits I suggested after your return from your trip. Thank you so very much. Definitely wish we knew where his wife Harriett Shatto is buried.

One little thing. You indicate in your flower note that Elliott's mother's maiden name was Spaulding. That might be stated right there in the first line of Elliott's bio-sketch. I didn't know that when I sent you the suggestion.

Best, Barry
