Hello & Welcome to My
Find A Grave Memorials!
"Always In Our Thoughts, Forever In Our Hearts"
"Sadly missed along life's way,
quietly remembered every day...
No longer in our life to share,
but in our hearts, you're always there."
"Those we hold closest to our hearts never truly leave us. They live on in the kindness they have shared and the love they
brought into our lives." Author Unknown
"You live as long as you are remembered."
"To live in hearts you leave behind is not to die." Thomas Campbell
Alex Haley said, "…where today it is rightly said that when a griot dies, it is as if a library has burned to the ground."
»-(¯`v´¯)-» "Those we love remain with us for love itself lives on. Cherished memories never fade, because one loved is gone. Those we love can never be, more than a thought apart, for as long as there is a memory, they live on in our heart." Anonymous

I would like your permission to use a photo you took of Walter Skopinski's tombstone at Holy Rosary cemetery in Baltimore. The photo will be used only for my personal genealogy and will be published on my web site on the internet with your permission.
|John malecki||Malecki relation|
It seems we are related. My grandmother was Elizabeth Podracky Malecki and Maried to Jano John Malecki. Please email me if we could communicate. Thank you for doing so much to fill in our family history.
|Dorothy Schwemmer||John Schwemmer|
I have located the obituary for John Schwemmer, it was published in The Baltimore Sun on Wednesday, January 1,1908 on page 4
It reads as follows:
SCHWEMMER - On December 31,1907, after a long illness, JOHN SCHWEMMER, beloved husband of the late Carrie Schwemmer.
Funeral from his late residence, No. 1157 Nanticoke street, on Thursday afternoon, January 2,1908 at 2 o clock. Interment is in Western Cemetery.

And, thanks for your help also.
Now, I need to practice, practice, practice, especially with the Virtual Cemeteries.

Hello Barbara, on my travels thru Rosie K's ND pets, I ran across UR little bunny & I couldn't resist have him join my other bunnies & pets. Just adding a flower brought back so many pleasant memories of my sons childhoods & the lovable bunnies they had.
Therefore, I wanted to stop by an introduce myself & THK U for posting all the memorials for UR adorable family pets. I have taken the liberty of adding U as my findagrave friend so that I may have easy access for visiting UR memorials from time to time & I would feel it a priviledge to be added to UR friend's list.
It was a pleasure to spend these few momemnts with U & may you have a blessed week-end.

We were fortunate here in York, PA. We didn't lose power, thank goodness. I do hope you get your power back soon!
As for the family connection: straight up the maternal line from me, my great-great grandmother was Anna (Michalovich) Glock. Her mother, Mary (Homolka)Michalovich, was the sister of your great-grandmother Josephine (Homolka) Smetana.
I had the pleasure of knowing my great-great grandmother briefly in my childhood. She passed away when I was 4. I recall dancing with her at my family's Easter party just days before she passed.
When I found the find a grave website, I was utterly fascinated by what I learned.

|khoke||This is awesome|
Hi Barbara! I stumbled upon this site totally by accident but I learned an incredible amount about my ancestors! As it turns out, I am a great-great-great-great granddaughter of Mary Zak Homolka. Do you have any ancestry information beyond Mary? I am really curious!

|Tom McNeill||Ambrose Lukas/Frances Chlada|
Hello. My name is Tom. I am the son of Sharon, daughter of Joseph Lukas, son of Ambrose and Frances. I have a few photos of Ambrose and Frances. Also I am wondering if you have any photos or information on Ambrose/Frances parents?
I have a census showing Ambrose father to be Andrew Lukas and Mary and his mother.
I am also looking for any photos of Frank Chlada or Antonia Krizensky, parents of Frances Chlada.
