Thank you for welcoming me! This has been a project I have wanted to participated in for a while now but worked full-time. So now I get to indulge my love of history and genealogy!
And my 13 year old son got a history lesson on the church and his many times grandparents that also rest there.

I just confirmed with the caretaker of IOOF cemetery in Monroe, WA that Leonard is buried there. Therefore I have entered his memorial - 132597422 - and will link and be asking for links from other contributors very shortly.
Hi Ken ~
Are you working on a particular Axtman family group? I know there are many Axtman's on Find A Grave that have not been linked as yet ~ it's a slow process to get everyone to cooperate.
Today, I'm checking on the burial of Leonard (s/o John & Magdalena)and will enter a memorial for him with links etc.
Please let me know if you need anything more.

Antonette & their unnamed infant son (b/d 29 Oct. 1965) are both buried in IOOF at Monroe, WA. Their son Leonard (b/d 16 Oct 1952) is buried in St. Mary's at Knox, ND. I don't know where Leonita is buried.

There is an obit for Leonard. Go to North Dakota-Ward County-Funeral Obituaries From. When I open it, the obits are from WWW.genealogybuff. There is a long obit on Leonard. There are a number of obits before you get to his. Nicely written. Good Luck. Linda

Thank you so much for letting me know about the passing of this Leonard Axtman. Two of his children are buried in the IOOF cemetery in Monroe and I suspect he is also there, although I'll need to confirm that.
I live near Tucson now, but will see if our relatives that are still in Washington can help.

I got these obits from Yakima Valley Genealogical Society, 1901 S 12th Avenue, Union Gap, Yakima Co, WA 98903 - phone (509) 248-1328

I put on Elizabeth's stone (& obit) per your request. I also added her husband Jack. Would you like him transferred to you?
