We can all do more helping each other than we can working alone.
Working my way through entries I manage in Collin, Wise County and Clay County, Texas. I gained management of a large group of them just recently so is a work in progress.
Earthman Resthaven Cemetery in Houston, Harris County, Texas is a "project" of sorts for me, I have added over 15,000 entries and pictures to this cemetery so far.
If additional information is offered, happy to update entries I manage. I like to connect entries to their spouse and parent's entries, makes it much easier to move around for everyone and adds value to the entry.
Primary lines: Hollis, Patterson, Maxwell, Davenport, Combest, Riggins, Hammonds, Peck, Dick. But am collecting data on all associated surnames. I love pictures, it brings a little life to these "dead" names on paper we work on every day. smile....Concerning the pictures I post to the Findagrave website, we have to make them smaller to fit on the webpage which means you can't zoom in on the picture to pick up details. If this is case on one you need, write me, I'll try to find the original and send it to you.
I choose to follow Findagrave guidelines for transfer, which can be found on the Findagrave FAQ page, but in summary.
I transfer your ancestors or your descendants or your siblings unless they are my ancestors as well, but remember your grandfather's sister's nephew is not your ancestor....I accept they are part of your family, but let's keep it your ancestors, your siblings or your descendants.
For updates or connections, please the "Suggest a correction" feature on an entry for update or transfer, this gives me a shortcut to the entry as well as sending me the correction you wish made. Typically, I will get the update or connection done the same or next day unless I am out of town.
Please don't make duplicates of existing entries, it is confusing to us all, having said that if I have made a duplicate it was an accident, please advise me so I can get it fixed either by deletion or having findagrave merge the 2 entries to preserve flowers or connections.
Some findagravers insist on having multiple surnames in the surname field because of several marriages, please use the surname they died with as it makes a search for them nigh on to impossible otherwise. | |

 | Milton and Sidney Smith Sorry that I was confused last year when I left the flower regarding father and son. It's not the first time I've been confused. Good Lord willing, I will live long enough to be confused again in the future. I appreciate folks being understanding when that happens. Have a blessed day! | | | Louann Brown
