My daddy passed away 01.30.11 and I am still trying to figure out how to deal with all the pain and sadness and love and memories and questions I have due to his departure. I know I will miss him very much for the rest of my life and --as a way to ease the reminisces-- somehow I feel the need of learning and getting close to my ancestors. |
In the quest I just started, I found "Find a Grave"...If someone -by any chance- ever finds a tombstone with the following names, please take a photo! I'll be eternally grateful!
-Herminia Jauregui de Delgadillo
They are my paternal great-grandparents. I don't know when they were born or died... all I know is that they should be buried somewhere in Los Angeles, CA area.

Good Luck to all the grave-busters out there! Now I'm glad to be one of you... If you'd like to manage one of the memorials I've created, let me know! I'd be glad to help.

Thank you so much, this is getting very exciting!
I was just able to link him to his parents in Rosemound Cemetery in Texas. I talked to some folks who are managing some memorials of one of James' uncles and found they are related to me.
I really appreciate your help. Take care always, Clair

I'm sorry for the late, very much deserved thank you for taking your time to fill this request for me. It is so very much appreciated. Brenda Olsen
I was reading your Bio and seen that you are looking for your great grandparents. I did a little search and found this on the (Family Search) records under the death index:
Name: Herminia Delgadillo
b. 1 Feb 1901, d. Apr 1983,
Residences: (1)Boyle, Los Angeles Co., CA., (2)Boyle, Heights, Los Angeles Co., CA., (3)Los Angeles, Los Angels Co., CA. Zip Code 90033.
I do not live in Los Angeles, but like to help others when I can. God only knows how many has help me along the way.
Here are a few free sites to help you out.
(3)Ancestry has a fee for some info, but I have gotten alot for free.
Let me know if I can help in anyway.

Thank you very much, she was his wife. I don't know how I missed doing a request but I did. You had also posted other pictures of the family on face book that I didn't need to request. It seems to be a popular cemetary for my family. I just found a relitive names Julian #8154991 also buried in this cemetery but I'm still researching his family as there may be more. Thanks again.

Thank you so much for the precious time you took to fulfill my photo request for Betty A. Crume.
Sorry to hear of your father's passing at the first of the year. I lost my fahter to, on Dec. 24, 2008, and buried him on Jan 2, 2009. So the hollidays are hard for me. The pain never goes away, but it does get a little easier each year. But I will always miss him. What keeps me going is, I have his memories tucked deep in my heart.
May God comfort your heart in these hard times. And may you have a bless Thanksgiving.

Thank you very much for the photo of Louis James's Headstone. Living here in the northeast I would never have been able to have done this myself.

|David Sifford||RE: about Resthaven|
From the sounds of things, we need to get together, along with Shawn, so that we can pass along a few things. He has a lot of info on Resthaven that helps. The big thing is finding locations. The staff is a lot nice toawards us than they were a few years ago so it's not good to overload them with requests. City of Lubbock is easy for me since I transcribed it by hand so I have a record to refer to and the staff out there is as nice as you could ever know. Give me a holler.
