I was born and raised in the great state of TEXAS! I have currently moved to Kansas, if anybody needs anything in the Wichita area; let me know. I have been doing family research for my family as well as my husbands for about a year. Nothing thrills me more that when I have found some snippet of info I have been looking for forever, than when I can help someone else find one they have been looking for. I love to have people email me and find out we are related in some way. This is the best site for family researchers and for getting snippets of long lost info! I am a housewife and have lots of time to devote, and I am ecstatic to help anybody I can find what they need.|
I would like to respond to a message left for me by DON user # 47041347 who chose to blast me on a public forum and leave absolutely no way to contact him for a response. After accusing me of having "been rude" by fulfilling a photo request he had claimed, I would like to respond publicly by saying that I would never steal a request someone else had claimed. I filled this request by accident because I am cataloging and transcribing and taking photos of the entire cemetery (1,000+ graves) and just put this photo in because it was in the cemetery not knowing that it was a request. I would also like to state how RUDE and IMMATURE it is of you to blast me without giving me any chance to contact you to respond and tell my side. Nice dude. This whole interaction has saddened me, it has taken me 9 months on findagrave before finally having found a jerk. I love this site because I thought we were all on it to try and help each other, not to be territorial and mean spirited over a simple misunderstanding. Not cool.

Hi, Amanda, I emailed you last year about our Nelson-Ferguson connection. My great great grandmother was Francis Elizabeth Nelson and married a Ferguson just as her sister Margaret Ann Nelson did. I have very little on who Mr. Ferguson was, other than they lived in Johnson County during the 1880 census with their only surviving child, my great grandmother, Lilly Augusta Ferguson. I know a bit more about "Frankie" because she outlived her daughter, but mainly what I have been able to glean from records. I hope you'll have the chance to fill me in on Margaret and Frankie, and if you know more about Lilly, I'd love to hear it.
