Bio and Links
Bio Photo I am Diana Moore Medina and I have been doing family ancestry since March of 2012, I came across and decided to look for relatives and add relatives. I also help with the Sabinal Cemetery. I am a descendant of four large families in Fredericksburg on my maternal grandmother's side, they are the Conrad & Karolina Ahrens family and the Peter & Elisabetha Alberthal family on one side and on the other it is the Heinrich & Sophie Borchers family and the Friedrich(Fritz)& Amalia Wilke Family on the other side. This is where a major part of my fascination came from. And then my other families also just fell in to place. Gillespie County has the best Genealogy out there!!!
My other family names consist of the following: Moore, Horton, Burns,Taylor, Massengale, Truitt, Streib,Newberry, Brantley, Crumpton,Schmerfeld, Brandau, Burke,Shearer, Smith, Crissman, Montayne,Haire, Miller, Haas,Andres, Angermiller,Dollahite,Patterson, Brown, Halliburton,Hale,Santleben, Ricks,Santleben, Grossenbacher, Heuchling, Paul, Petefish & many more.
If I can help you out with research let me know, I love family ancestry!!!

RE: Aliene Blocker
Aliene is buried in Block 36, Lot 178, Grave 1. There was no headstone there, and the lady helping me didn't mention anyone being buried with her. Of course, I didn't know to ask for William. If you'd like, I could go back and ask questions???? Just let me know. If there's anyone else buried here in San Antonio, let me know and I will happily take pictures of their headstones if there's one. But as far as Aline goes, it was just a dirt grave, no grass has even grown there, like there was a recent burial there...

God Bless, and I hope that one of her next of kin decides to add a headstone for her.

Aliene Blocker
Was at the cemetery about 30 minutes ago, and there was no headstone or marker for Aliene. I asked the office and they said to add a marker it would be $35, and of course whatever the price of a headstone you choose would cost. However, only the next of kin (who proves their relation) can get either item. Do you want a picture just of the dirt where she's buried?

Thank you so much. I will keep a look out to see if they have any relatives buried there. I looked at their children in the Find A Grave site and it seems they are buried in other places. I am like you, it makes me so sad to find someone in an unmarked grave. I am trying to find the graves of Ella Hardin Hermes and afraid that they are also in unmarked graves.

Thank you for researching the location of the graves of Ella (also known as Ellen) Elizabeth Hermes, Find A Grave #47498129 and Otto Adolph Hermes, Find A Grave #47498104 in the Sabinal Cemetery, Sabinal, Uvalde County, Texas. I hope you will keep them in mind and possibly find them. The may not have headstones. Thank you for the photo of the entrance to the cemetery.

RE: Buttlers
Oh, thank you so very much. These are some unsettling deaths. Ethel, the daughter, spent over 40 years as a resident at San Antonio state hospital. If you look at the side of her death certificate, there is a note. I assume there was no one left in the family to notify. I do so appreciate ALL you are doing. Becky

Thank you for taking the pictures of the Peoples headstones for me and looking for the Hobbs one. I know the Hobbs one was there at one time - I remember reading about it on a message board why was a Hobbs grave I the middle of the People graves. If you ever need one in Colorado please let me know! Kathleen
