Thank you very much Jayne for posting the great "close-up" photo you took of the "Treue Der Union Monument" in Comfort, Texas, where the engraved names are so clearly legible to Leopold Bauer's memorial. I really appreciate you! You've made my day and night!

Thank you for your work on Find A Grave which is very much appreciated. I would like your permission to post your "close-up" photos of the Treue Der Union Monument in Comfort, Texas, in which the names of the men in one of your photos the names are listed on the side of the monument are clearly legible.
The photos you took are currently posted to Ernst Beseler's Memorial# 69708396. I would like with your permission and giving you credit for the photos to post them to the Memorial# 69708356 for Leopold Bauer.
This past week I submitted on Leopold Bauer's memorial 69708356 (by using the "Edit" Tab) that Leopold Bauer's father is Gottlieb C. Bauer, Memorial# 51413716.
I have been able to link Leopold Bauer's two sisters to their father Gottlieb C. Bauer recently. Gottlieb C. Bauer's other two children were Caroline Bauer Simon (1836-1878) (Mrs. Ferdinand Simon) and Charlotte Apollonia Bauer Cramer (1844-1914)(Mrs. Ernst Christopher Cramer). It will be so nice when all three of Gottlieb C. Bauer's children are connected, or "linked", to their father's memorial when you are able to approve the edit I submitted to "link" Leopold Bauer's to his father's memorial.
Thank you again very much for your work on Find A Grave. These specific names as mentioned above of my family members has been especially gratifying to find on Find A Grave. If you will allow me to add your photos to Leopold Bauer's memorial that would be wonderful.

You are quite welcome. I may try to get better pictures but the contrast on the stone inscriptons were even hard to read by eyesight. I may try for a better pictures in the near future.

Jayne, thank you so very much for Louis' obituary. I thought I had it somewhere, but haven't been able to locate it. I really appreciate your thoughtfulness in sending it to me, and I have added it to his memorial page. Thanks again!

Your welcome. It was by chance that I found him. It's a really large cemetery. I'll be going back this week. Maybe every week till I cover the whole thing.
|Al Russ||RE: Laura Steves Boerner, Heinrich Steves|
You are very welcome. It is on private property. I had to make a delivery there and had the opportunity to take the photos. I just feel bad that I didn't get a few. But it is in disrepair and some stones are missing. Best wishes.

|Bill Warren||Re: Erney A. Bonnett|
I have linked him to his parents as you requested. I added Mr. Bonnett while searching for my uncle who is buried at Maverick Cemetery in Eagle Pass, TX. Mr. Bonnett is not a relative of mine. I will be glad to transfer ownership to you if you wish.
