Bio and Links
Bio Photo My particular areas of interest are Berks, Montgomery, Schuylkill, Chester and Lehigh Counties in Pennsylvania.

Memorials are not bulletin boards. Please do not attach gaudy clip images as a photo. If you feel this information is vital send as a suggestion in digital format to add to the bio section.

Do not create and then request a middle name be added unless it appears in a obituary/death/burial/birth record/tombstone.

My Patriots of the Revolution include:
George Herbst 1712, George Dry 1725, Johannes Koch 1725, Daniel Guldin 1735, Johann Christian Scheidt 1736, Michael DeLong 1739, Bernhard Eitel 1745, Michael Krebs 1744, Henrich Knauss 1746, John De Turck 1747, Marmaduke Von Buskirk 1750, John Grant 1754, Sebastian Koch 1757

Generally, transfers of memorials unrelated to my family or friends will only be made for your direct ancestors, therefore excluding, cousin, aunts, uncles, etc.

Christopher Minnich #47671119
You kindly transferred my 5th great grandfather Sgt Christopher Minnich, for whom I have documented lineage proven to him through the DAR. You have posted a great note on the memorial regarding his burial in some sort of book/pamphlet?? called "SAR Pennsylvania Society Revolutionary War Soldier Graves Berks and Lebanon Co PA". Do you know how I can get a copy of the page that has Christopher's burial?

The reason I ask, is a volunteer has tried to find a record of the burial and reports:
"There is NO record of this person (# 47671119) in this cemetery. Please transfer him to "unknown cemetery.""

I am reluctant to do so since you have obviously have some sort of documentation that led you to create the memorial. If I can purchase the book or get a scan of the page then I would have the documentation that the volunteer was unable to find. I appreciate any help you can give me.

Thank you for the quick response for making the link and updates for Thomas McNeill. I knew of him a couple years ago, but only recently located his family. Have a blessed day !

You have created two memorials for him 88192772 and 106003294 in two cemeteries - which cemetery is he in? Suggest you delete the incorrect one.

John Christian
Please consider deleting the "first" wife. We are descended from John and know he was only married to Margaret Deem and had three boys. The Reading Adler must have been about some other John Christian. Thank you!

Neil. I see that you added a photo of a grave marker to Daniel's memorial that does not bare his name. If he, Daniel, does not have a grave marker, would you be so kind as to contact the Berks County Veteran Representative to ask if the county would add a marker for him?

It really bothers me that so many veterans who are buried in Berks County do not have a grave marker. Any assistance you could render would be gratefully appreciated.

Your findagrave friend,

Jerry
