Anyone who wants to take over management of any memorials.....just ask!
Also, any and all photos that I've taken in these cemeteries can be used by anyone, you don't even have to ask! If anyone has a better photo of a gravemarker that I've added, just add it and let me know, and I will delete the one I added.
If you would like me to take a photo of a gravemarker or retake a photo, check with the cemetery or Twp. office and find out what section it is in; then I will walk the section to find it. I will then replace it if it is on my interment page or email it to you if it is on someone else's page!
Jackson Monument Works does a great job in cleaning and restoring grave-markers, I've seen them at work while I was photographing markers.

Vern, I really appreciate the travers of the 2 Davis memorials. However, when the merge, or whatever was done with your memorial to mine, it really made the headstone small. Much smaller than what was on your memorial. Is there any way you could take another photo of this headstone? There's is no hurry about this and better weather would be more ideal. I will add a photo request also. If can't do that's fine but I still appreciate your help and transfers.

I've added Roseland Memorial Gardens Cemetery to the 2 Davis memorials. Thank you so much.
Hi Vern, Hate this weather-I want to keep going out and photographing for people and can't until spring. I am glad I found the ones I did for people before the holidays hit to finish off the year for them with a smile...My foster daughter is over this weekend with the grand baby and we were talking about this find a grave search we do for people and she wanted me to look up her Grandfather and Grandmother to see if they have a memorial page. I see you have made one for the two of them and she was wondering if you could give over management of them to me so she can add personal information to them. Their names are Arthur Barker and Sophie Ann Barker, they are from her fathers side. She is a descendent of the Barker and Parrish lines. Thank you, Dawn

Vern, When you found my grandfathers headstone it blessed me incredibly. My grandfather and grandmother were divorced when my dad was 6. Years later my grandfather married Louise G. DeOrlow. As a kid I was very close to my grandmother but felt my grandfather had not been honorable and had a bad second marriage with Louise. I was not very close to them and never knew much about them although we visited every few years. But when I saw the headstone "Beloved Husband" put there by his second wife Louise, I knew Louise loved him and it was a great blessing to me to finally see evidence of the love between Louise and my grandfather Steve for whom I am named. I had never seen the headstone until your photo of it. I did attend his funeral in Jackson and I had a kind and positive relationship with Louise but we lost track of her and I was left with an empty feeling about her and my grandfather because of the thoughts of his 'bad second marriage' as a kid. And then VERN came through again!!! First, you found my grandpa's headstone which was a real positive boost for me as described above. Then just yesterday I found your photo of Louise's grave and it grave blew me away. She died in Louisville Kentucky 20 years after my grandfather died. But she is buried next to him in Jackson Michigan with a matching headstone that says "Beloved Wife". That they are buried together with matching headstones after 20 years and lots of miles between them in a very humble situation that made a burial in Jackson a serious effort - what a blessing. It is obvious that she truly loved him and certainly would not have been buried there if the two of them did not share a very major love between them. I looked for Louise in the Louisville region and was not able to find her, but your photos of their headstones showed me that indeed they had a solid marriage based on love. Praise the Lord and thank you Vern more than I can say. I hope to meet you some day in Michigan. Steve DeOrlow (Grandson of Steve)

How are you doing? We were checking to see what sections of the cemetery you have already photographed?
Hi Vern, I want to say thanks for creating the memorials for Fred C. Watson #73392570, and Marguerite M. Watson #73398742; seeing them complete with photos was of great help. I was wondering if you would consider transferring them to me for keeping? If not, I could forward you the family links to add some lineage to the memorials. Again thanks, you're doing a great job!
All the best,

I have never found any trouble with the cemeteries in Detroit and vicinities ... just her. Have you found all the ones that were listed for photo request? If so I will unclaim all of them so you may upload. My biggest wish is that people find information about their families - not who found - I see what you mean about walking a cemetery and photographing .. The city of Jackson was very helpful if you ever need anything from their two cemeteries.
