I was born and raised on Long Island in a little town called North Patchogue. I joined the military and seen the world plus quite a bit of the USA.|
My love for history and especially family history drives me to explore cemeteries, both public and private. I have completed the family genealogy of my family's name (Howland) and now I'm venturing forth to explore the surnames of Carter, DelQuaglio, and Ventrice.
Someday, I hope to write a book about all of the family names, so my children's children will have something to read and know where they came from in history.
I also love helping others in their quest to learn about their family history.

The wife of Ezra Beach (Sr) is Mary Hudson.

You can calcuate Ezra Beach Sr's birth date from the death date. It is 16 Apr 1806.

|Barbara Tyler||Ezra Beach Junior|
You have Ezra Beach Junior listed as Ezra Beach June, so there are now two listing in Wading River for the same person. Travlingal has the other site. Also, the parents of this Ezra are Ezra Beach 27598421 and Mary Hudson Beach 27598422.
|William Wilson||Wading River Millers|
Hi Phillip. May I have your permission to use your great photos of my Long Island relatives' gravestones at my web site, wdwilson.com? I'd give full attribution, of course. Zophar Mill Miller is my 3rd great-grandfather, and most of the other Wading River shots you took are of people on my family tree. Thanks very much.

Here are my notes on Mollie. She should be in the Beth David Cemetery in Queens county, and I also have Elmont, Nassau, NY. Barbara found obit, giving date of death, initials: Mrs. M.L. |Barbara Tyler||Charles Hudson|
Trying to sort out the Charles Hudsons is interesting. I believe that the one you have listed as Charles W is actually Charles V (check photo.) He was born 12 Apr 1856 and died 27 Sep 1903. Charles V (listed as just Charles) is the one born 23 Jul 1837, died 27 Oct 1858 in Pensacola. His inscription (when photo enlarged) I believe is " In the midst of life we are in death." What I can't figure is why both of these men are listed as sons of Charles and Hannah and I wonder if they are really brothers or if there is another Charles-Hannah marriage. They are apparently in the same plot.
|Barbara Tyler||Charles W Hudson|
Based on census reports, Charles W Hudson died in 1858, not 1838.
|Barbara Tyler||Wading River - Hudsons|
I've been trying to add some Hudson information that I took from the cemetery back in 1982. I believe that the death date of Charles Hudson 27598456 should be 1857, not 1850, which makes his birthdate 20 Oct 1802.
