Since many people have already sent you what they know about the Harrington's, I'm sure 99% of them copied or referenced information from a book called "They Came To Mara". In it, it claims the emigrant Timothy Harrington (b 1828) came from Co. Mayo. This information has just been repeated over time. I have enough information to believe he actually came from Co. Cork if it's of any interest to you. Thank you for letting me know the connection, however distant it may be :)

I was wondering if you could fix a problem with My Great grandmothers find a grave. It is stated at the top that she was born on Feb 20, 1881 in Ottawa, and it was actually May 1, 1881 in Rama Township. Also for her death at the top of the page reads Jan 19, 1974 and should read Jun 19th 1974. This would be greatly appreciated. Thanks Susan Cleaveley

Sorry, I can only read the names and dates, if I'm ever out there again I'll have a look.

It is to far gone to read in photo.
It looks like
Beloved ..... of
Maybe in the Spring when it is dry. will be abel to read the stone.

Thanks for noticing.
I didn't see it.
I think it also means that there are other children. (Mother / Brother) etc.
I think it just shows that it is a memorial.

Thank you for the info.
Do you know anything about the daughter?

In the discription on St. Paul's, St. George is mentioned.
It looks like they should be combined.
Maybe "Grass Lake Conscession Cemeteries" With both George and Paul still listed in the Cemetery finder.
The photos I took there, I am adding to what ever Cemetery has someone with the same name.
I added a photo of the gate entrance to St. George, and a photo of a St. Pauls Marker to St. Paul. They have not been approved yet.

Odd thing, both St. George and St Paul's Cemeteries have the same address.
I was at that address today, only one sign at the site, St. Paul's.
I took a lot of photos today in the area (136). I will be posting then later.
Are the "Counter" markers also related to you?
|Lowell Pankake||RE: Wilhelm August Kohls|
I also photographed the gravestones and created memorials for the other family members buried with Wilhelm.
Let me know if you would like them transferred to you.
