Questions regarding burials at Oak Hill Cemetery, Richfield-Minneapolis, Mn. @ 5901 Lyndale Ave. send me an email. LJP and I have transcribed the burial records. A yellow sunflower on the flower selection on any grave means there is no marker.

If sending me an email please note: there is an underscore between rachel & keller.

Families I am researching: Keller of York Co., Pa., Ohio, Iowa: Pearce/Pierce of Ohio, Iowa: Bartlett of W.Va and Kansas: Thompson of Ohio, Illinois and Nebraska, Darst of Ohio & Illinois, Hanson and Clendennen of Pa.

Pay it forward! Take a few photo's of someplace close to where you live and post them. It may be someone's "brick wall".

...please be respectful of all who post photos, leave tokens, establish memorials and contribute information. This is people helping people!

Thank you for the correct burial info on Clara. I did not delete my memorial because the minute I do that, someone else will throw another one up in that cemetery because they will not know her real burial site. Therefore I updated the memorial directing people to the true memorial. Thank you

James Lee Haugen is a relative, I was named after his mother with my middle name. If you wouldn't mind deleting your memorial I could keep mine. I didn't realize you had one made. thank you

Eisenbarger's & Me
lol...Hi, Rachel! That biography keeps morphing into something new all the time! Thanks for the thumbs up!

The Eisenbarger's are "married in" to my Allen & Travis Tree via Vada Violet Eisenbarger who married Leland Gay Riley. Mr. Riley's parents were Charles Lewis Riley and Iona Ann Travis, and that makes him my 4th cousin 2X removed. Iona's father was George W. Travis, whose father was William Allen Travis, whose parents were Beverly Travis and Lydia Allen. Lydia was the sister of Hiram McGinnis Allen who is my 4th Great Grandfather.

I was thinking to myself "I didn't place any Eisenbarger family photos. If I did, where on Earth did I hide them?" ohhh....I see.

I had gone out to Harrison County Missouri about three Summers ago, maybe four. Beautiful, beautiful country with Amish in their buggies. And HOT and HUMID! This old fat woman thought she was going to die! I trooped up hill and dale taking photos at the various cemeteries. I was particularly interested in the Allen Family Cemetery, but I love this stuff, so all of them were good. I managed to get about 1/3 of the Eagleville Masonic Union Cemetery photographed before I ran out of time and ice water. I confess. I copped out. I did make friends at the Harrison County Genealogical Society, and they helped me with a boatload of family history, all of which is on I believe in sharing. I love those folks! They are absolutely fabulous! SOMEBODY, however, who is used to that weather, needs to troop over hill and dale and take photos of all those headstones. They have easily 50+ little cemeteries in that county!

So, that's how I'm related to the Eisenbargers! We're 4th cousins 2X removed!

RE: John Finlay Photo
I am fairly certain the John Finlay memorial stone
says "Fermanagh" which is sparsely populated county in northern Ireland.

Couillard Family
Thank you very much for the Couillard photos you have taken in Oak Hill Cemetery. The information they contain has been of great genealogical value.

RE: Catherine Burgess
Happy to help. I'm sure you have this, but found Gracie listed in the daily deaths on Jan 7, 1914, and her address was 2535 17th av S. Sure sounds like a burial that was later moved but the facts don't seem to bear that out. Any local papers you know of?
