My profile would be boring, so I won't bother (you can visit my dad Mitzie the Clown instead) ... and I won't list a bunch of do this and do that's. "Help with Find A Grave" has all that.... assuming you've read them. |
With sand fleas and no-see-ums biting, dodging bee's, garden snakes, and one territorial hawk - armed with a pocket full of batteries - I've swept the dirt, trimmed the grass, blown off the leaves and dug out the forgotten stones. Each one will tell you a story; of love, laughter and sadness.
I take pictures. Lots of pictures. Good ones, bad ones. I'm learning as I go. You may use MY picture(s) any way you want, with the exception of re-posting them on Find A Grave. It is my gift to you. No further permission is needed, NOR credit given.
This applies to MY PHOTO's ONLY. If you feel you must give credit, use my member ID# only - my name is plastered all over the www as it is.
Many contributors have given their time creating memorials for the men and women who lost their lives in service. I would like to bring attention to just this one:
2nd Lieut. Darrell K. Stoyke
Please, take a moment and visit his memorial. If the people of Eyguieres, France can build a memorial in the center of town to honor him, surely you can take a moment and visit his grave. If you have any information on this young man, please contact me. Thank you.
If you've left me a "thank you" - You are very welcome. I really am glad I was able to help you. Now go back to that memorial you were so happy to find and leave a Flower, a Note, some Cheetos. Anything. Show them you care and they are not forgotten.

I noticed that your last name, or married name is Mitzel. I have an ancestor whose name has come up as Mutzel, Mietzel, and Meitzel. Did your ancestors ever use one of those spellings? I sure would like to know the correct spelling from about 150 years ago.

Hey, Jaci! I was using the Find A Grave site to work on my private trees on Ancestry and saw that you had taken pics of some of my relatives. Then I read your bio info, and you really spelled it out. Pretty cool, I must say truly. And I like it that you said it's OK to use your pics. Most people don't think to do that. The pics get used anyway, but the way you did it was the best. So rather than thank you for any individual pics, I wanted to thank you for ALL the pics, for me and for everyone else. Way to go! And God bless.

|April Benedict||RE: Ruth Rippe|
Memorial 100825389 , I requested a family link to Ruth's parents and maiden name addition and the request was accepted. If it was not you, you still get a Big Thank You for all your contributions.

Thanks so much for your quick response. I've been looking for Ruth for a long time. Nice that she's now with her family.
|Richard Bohn||Terry Randdy Wilker|
Jaci, obituary has been added to Terry's memorial. Nice picture you added.
Thanking you in return, Richard.
|JF Ehrhart||Elmer, Hilma & Elizabeth Watts|
Thank you so much for the pictures and information. I was just trying to connect family and this completes this family. Elmer and Hilma was killed in car accident on Hwy 78 near their Oceanside, CA home, and daughter Elizabeth had polio.

Thank you for your consideration. I took this picture years ago with a very cheap camera. I appreciate the better quality. If you know anyone who is interested I have inherited three family lots all together in this cemetery. They can contact the office for details and to view the site. Thanks again.

Thank you for adding the memorials for Bertha Frances & Eli Lawrence Perdue. I had requested copies of the death certificates from MNHS.org. Just received in the mail yesterday. Today I checked the findagrave and discovered you had added these this week. Bertha was the neice of my great grandmother.
