Bio and Links
Bio Photo I am constantly tramping through cemeteries in Starke and Lake Counties, Indiana, looking for relatives for the family tree. If I can help someone else in the process, I'd be glad to. If someone wants a memorial transferred, just ask. I'm focusing on the last names of Gappa, Lemke, Huebner, Schacht, Keehn, Byer, Haley, Helms, Giffin, Wilhelm, Schnaufer, and Kaiser for me while I'm working on Swatts, Brooke, Johnson, Mathias, and Vanaman for my cousin.

Thank-you so much for the transfers. Would it be okay to use your pictures in my genealogy? Thanks again, Beckie Pressler

Good Morning Andy,

I was wondering if you could help me find some information?

Bergh, Norman birth 1899, death 3-22-1921
he is buried here and only states on stone
"World War U.S.N."
Could you please help me find more information out about him.
Point me in the direction to look?

Thank you so much!!!

Sophie Schultz Blamey
Hi Andy - I was wrong when I said that Albert Gierke was married to Sophie Schultz Blamey. Eliminate that link to Albert Gierke. The death date is accurate.

Hi Andy, how nice of you to transfer two memorials to me. I will take good care. Happy you found Emma because I have been looking for her. Appreciate your finding their stones and making memorials!

RE: the Krauses and Huebners
I'm not related, just researching family history for a Dutch friend who lost contact with his family. The Krause family married one of his cousins.

I do have Krause ancestors, but they came from Germany in the 1840s, lived in Wisconsin, then later crossed the plains.

Daniel & Anna Schwarzentruber
In 2012 you set up a page for Daniel & Anna Schwarzentruber. On the pages that you set up you referenced their obits in the Hammond Times. Daniel & Anna are my great-grandparents. I have been doing research for years and have never been able to find much information on Anna (Mueller). I was wondering if there is any possibility if you still have access to those obits and if you could email them to me? I live a couple of hours from Hammond and am not able to go back there at this time. I know at one time my father had copies of each, but he passed several years ago and I was never able to locate those papers.
Thank you for any help you can give me!
