Bio and Links
Bio Photo It is about time I enter my bio information, I've been on this site for many years and not done that, sorry!
I have tracked my Bicknese line back to the mid 1600's. My main interest here is to connect all Bicknese' and it's working. only 5 branches (now 3, as of Sept 2012, 2 more branches connected) ones that I've not found a common link!
The Rogers family of Ellejoy, Blount Co., Tennessee is another family line, starting with Willoughby Rogers 1757-1828.
My Davis family line is another question. In Blount Co. TN, my Davis line is as far back as I have been able to go. The handed down name of Fieldson Davis is where it stops. There has been a finding of a paper trail to a Richman Davis of the same period. There has been DNA testing done and there is a family in Manchester, Coffee Co., Tennessee that is a match. But I do not have the common link, YET! But I'm working on that.
On my mothers side of the family my interest lie in the Long, Horner, Birkett, Boots, Engle, Manifold, McMullen families, plus many more as the line goes back in time. It does take long to find you have 64 pair of grand parents.
Enjoy your searching and let me know if I can help with yours!

Max Luetgert at Forest Home Cemetery
Hi! Almost no one fulfills photo requests at Forest Home Cemetery because the cemetery staff does not appreciate photographers and they will not supply them with burial plots.

But you can get the burial plot by calling the cemetery at 773-287-0772 or try e-mailing deborah.bluck@foresthomecemetery.net if you cannot talk to someone.

Since there are over 150,000 burials at the cemetery, finding someone's grave without a plot (Section and Lot Number) is nearly impossible. Ace

Jesse Rector 1886-1977
Hi there,
I think the Jesse Rector you have listed on Memorial 36591175 is actually Jesse Henry Rector, I don't think his middle name was Daniel. Jesse Henry Rector first married Alta Sharp and second married Mary Upchurch. If I am wrong, please set me straight!

Thanks,

Ormanville Cemetery - Davis Photos
I have photographed the entire Ormanville cemetery and those Davis children graves are not there. There is a lot of open or empty space around the lone Davis gravestone, so those children may be buried in that open area--but they have no visible stones.

I can e-mail you 'wide angle' photos of the area around the Owen and Clara Davis stone so that you can see what I mean about open or empty area.
