I have been enjoying genealogy for the past few years but have always been interested in visiting cemetaries. When reading of "Find a Grave" in the newspaper one day, I checked it out and have been entering names of my family and people that I know ever since. I have also been transcribing names from other cemeteries that I am familiar with. Should anyone wish to add information on any of these, please send it to me and I'll be glad to put it there for you. Remember, if our family roots are not cared for they will wither and die. "I saw behind me those who had gone on before me an those who are to come. I looked back and saw my father, and all our fathers, and in front I see my son, and the sons upon sons beyond. And their eyes were my eyes." Richard Llewellyn
RE: Hagan Hi. I don't know if you remember our conversations or not. I have been off here for quite some time as we have had several deaths in our family in the last four years, and almost lost our special needs child in this time frame. I have had a very hectic life since (as I know we all do). Anyway, I don't remember if I replied to any of your messages that I think I'm just seeing for the first time. I do know the Metts Cemetery is a family cemetery. The photo I was requesting is of my birth mother who is in that bloodline. Can you refresh my memory as to whether or not I answered all your messages? Lol. I'm sorry that I'm just now getting to these. Thank you for all your help.
RE: Hagan Ok, I have to seriously apologize. I don't know how I didnt' ever get your messages. Or if I did and replied I don't remember. I have a special needs child we are in the process of adopting who was in a coma in 2012 and almost died and our life has been one ball of chaos after another ever since. Things are settling down some so I'm trying to get back into the swing of this, lol. Can you refresh my memory on what page we were discussing, if you still remember?
James McNab Hi - I went to put a headstone photo on this gentlemen's grave, there are none, and you have too many photos on there for me to add the stone. Would you consider sponsoring the memorial since you were great friends?
RE: Marion Fugate OK I see where someone else posted that there are rules about this. The other posting for Marion has a better picture and more complete info. so I went with that, but whoever entered the incorrect info first, never deletes. Interesting rule. Im gonna stick with the woman who got it right, even if she got there late.
RE: Marion fugate I dont understand your problem about deleting yours. You must be in some contest or something or getting paid to do this. Really it seems crazy to me. But maybe you can help. His father is buried in Kentucky and his mother in Florida but I do not know where to find her. Evidently she remarried. Mary Louise Lindsey Fugate, then another last name.
