Actually, I only looked up the name on the list. The cemetery has a nice map and very nice book. If you can get a location for this person, I will try again next time I am in that area.

Brainard F DeWitt
http://www.findagrave.com/cgi-bin/fg.cgi?page=gr&GRid=136529945

Is there a connection to the Brainerd/Brainard family or is he named after the missionary David Brainerd?

Thank you,
Elena (Brainerd)

Sherman
Unfortunately, I don't know anything about the Miles Cemetery.

I only have two references to Abel Sherman and Huldah Richards.

Page 23
A Genealogical Register of the Descendants of Several Ancient Puritans Vol3
Author: Abner Morse = a lot of "Hopkins" & "Richards" but no "Sherman"
except that Huldah Richards married Abel & had 7 children

and
pages 28 and 35 A Genealogical Register of the Descendants of Several Ancient Puritans V.3, The Richards Family

This is the source I've used for Huldah's birth of
16 Sep 1762 in Waterbury, New Haven Co., Connecticut, USA and for her marriage to Abel.

Too many Abel's!

RE: Sherman family memorial problems
Well, now that you've got me involved in the Sherman line again!,I gave it another try and simply deleted the duplicate sibling entry.

Apparently the "second" sibling entry is a normal display, although I don't remember that from previous updates. (A person is listed as a sibling among his siblings?)

I have also entered the children of Alvin Hobart Sherman. This is my direct line. Ogle Olen Cross and Alice Sherman being my grand-parents.

RE: Sherman family memorial problems
I am likely to agree with your suggestions, if we can work together with some corrections.

I tried to work with your earlier suggestions from this week for Hector Richard Sherman, but got frustrated and set the project aside for a while.

How can we get Hector Richard Sherman fixed so that he is not a sibling of himself twice? Is my first objection.

Wolforts in Albany Rural
In the middle of the general lot photo, it appears that 2 of the stones are down. There should be more people shown on them. You might want to call the cemetery and see if they will put the markers back up.

Schindler's in Albany Rural
Do you know who the people on the other side of the Schindler marker in the middle are. It says Mother Apr 11, 1840 to Nov 27 1899 and Father June 14, 1832 to Apr 30, 1910. I do not know if they are Schindler's or Wolferts, and I do not find them in the Cemetery listings.
