"My feelings are in each family there is one who seems called to find the ancestors. To put flesh on their bones and make them live again, to tell the family story and to feel that somehow they know and approve.
To me, doing genealogy is not a cold gathering of facts but, instead, breathing life into all who have gone before."

Thanks for her obit. Please review to make sure it is correct. I liked the way you have added information to other memorials. Are you related to this family?

I would like to know as to why you had put him in there. I have some new info. on my father's dna and maybe we can put 2 and 2 together.
My email is firstname.lastname@example.org
take care, Darlene Bohanon Fields

Greenwood Cemetery originally said they had no record of Stiles Gunn so I checked on Genealogy Bank quickly and found the following obituary for him with wife, Elizabeth also. That updated info enabled Greenwood to find the gravesite for both. In case you don't have the obituary info I have copied it below.
Best regards, Keith Westman

My pleasure to be of help. Buried next to Stiles Gunn is his wife, Elizabeth A. Gunn. Her memorial wasn't connected to Stiles' but I didn't search to see if there is one already. If not, you can create one and I can then upload the picture I took of her plaque also so just let me know. Best regards, Keith
She was Linus' first wife. I found her buried next to him. If you are related to her as well, please let me know. Send me your member number and I'll transfer management. I couldn't find her actual birth date on Ancestry, but I did find her date of death.

I don't really have anything I call super solid on John James Wilson (1785-1829). What I do have is basically pieces of family lore (not even my family) which I have accumulated. I have his father as a James Madison Wilson (1763-1829) who was a soldier of unknown rank, and who's father before him was also Captain James Madison Wilson (1734-1819) who I believe was in the revolutionary war. I do not know if his rank is an Army rank (O-3) or Naval Rank (O-6 - basically a full Colonel if in the Army). I don't really have any specifics other than this, including wives names and families. Again none of that is really super solid, so it would bear a bit of additional research before claiming it with certainty. Hope this helps.

Hi Kathy, Thank you for the heads-up about the duplicate memorials and also for the obituary for my great-granddaddy. I posted it immediately.
