"My feelings are in each family there is one who seems called to find the ancestors. To put flesh on their bones and make them live again, to tell the family story and to feel that somehow they know and approve.
To me, doing genealogy is not a cold gathering of facts but, instead, breathing life into all who have gone before."

You welcome. I hate it when there is not a monument either. But sometimes family could not afford one. I know that to be a fact. They could barely scrape the money up to bury them. But at least with a print out of the lot and the other stones I was able to pin point the exact locale for you.
THANK YOU! I've been to Ft Towson and Hugo looking for this info before. Didn't even think of looking to Paris, TX.
You've been a great help to me.

Thank you for the information for Arcadio Mendoza. Do you have any information on his wife Adelida Floriss Mendoza? She passed five years later.

Thanks for her obit. Please review to make sure it is correct. I liked the way you have added information to other memorials. Are you related to this family?

I would like to know as to why you had put him in there. I have some new info. on my father's dna and maybe we can put 2 and 2 together.
My email is firstname.lastname@example.org
take care, Darlene Bohanon Fields

Greenwood Cemetery originally said they had no record of Stiles Gunn so I checked on Genealogy Bank quickly and found the following obituary for him with wife, Elizabeth also. That updated info enabled Greenwood to find the gravesite for both. In case you don't have the obituary info I have copied it below.

My pleasure to be of help. Buried next to Stiles Gunn is his wife, Elizabeth A. Gunn. Her memorial wasn't connected to Stiles' but I didn't search to see if there is one already. If not, you can create one and I can then upload the picture I took of her plaque also so just let me know. Best regards, Keith
She was Linus' first wife. I found her buried next to him. If you are related to her as well, please let me know. Send me your member number and I'll transfer management. I couldn't find her actual birth date on Ancestry, but I did find her date of death.
