 | RE: Joseph New My sister and I had a great time finding the cemetery when others had reported problems. We had to walk a half mile from a locked gate (oil co property, not an individual) and barely recognized it from the undergrowth around the cemetery. Had to put on my "rattlesnake-proof" boots just to brave going into the brush to get the pictures. There are still 2 more there, so we may go back again for another look. | | | beverly platt
 | Nancy Cullins Hughes Steve, Nancy is my 3rd gr Aunt. My 3rd Gr Grandmother, Jane Cullins Beaton Hudson, was Nancy's sister. She married Marmaduke Beaton and had a child Esther Beaton (my 2nd gr grandmother). Esther married Joe J Eubanks. They had 1 child, Mary Eubanks (my gr grandmother). Esther died in childbirth having Mary. Mary Eubanks married Lemuel Frank Fuqua and they had 1 child, Mary Helon Fuqua (my grandmother). Mary also died in childbirth having my grandmother. Grandma married George Lee Bird in Caldwell and they had 2 girls, Nancy Bird and my mother, Mary Aillene Bird.a Nancy and my grandfather Bird both died when my mother was a child, leaving only her and my grandmother. I grew up not knowing Any of my mothers family so I am anxious to find anything about them. If you have any info on Jane Cullins, I would be grateful. | William Smith Hi, you have a William Smith in your memorials. He is buried at Indian Creek in Brown county. He is possibly a relative of mine. From what I am gathering, his grandmother is possibly Paulina Miller, she was my ggg grandmother. She is also buried at Indian Creek. I believe William's mother was Julia Miller, she was my gg granmother, Amanda's sister, Julia married Benjamin Smith. At least that's what the very very old paper says that Paulina wrote down. Are you related to him by any chance? If I am correct, then he would be my 1st cousin 3x's removed. Anyway, just wondering if I stumbled on to a relative :)

 | RE: Harkey Photo Your welcome. I recognized the name when I saw it, however, I didn't know his name was Daniel. I grew up in Carlsbad and read Dee's book a very long time ago. I intend to reread it soon, the library has a copy (of course!).

 | RE: Scott & Edith New Photos Steve,
You are very welcome. I can certainly see why you were unable to locate it, such a big and ill planned layout. Thankfully one of my sisters helped me. We had to both have a list and walk the place. Certainly got exercise! Glad that I could help.
