|Charlie Morris||Elmer Pyle photo request|
The photo request for Elmer Pyle has been done but was an earlier post. Check out Find A Grave Memorial# 137037806. I think this is a duplicate and it has the photo you want.
I would like to pick up your photo request but Sparkman Hillcrest (SH) does not like to provide burial locations to volunteers, citing privacy issues. Your cooperation is needed in order for requests to be filled. The volunteers will need you to call SH and request the location. Their phone number is 214-363-5401. Once you have the location, please add it to your request. Thanks.

Hi Devin! I wanted to to alert you to a couple things regarding Lt. Pile's memorial.
The memorial you created (Memorial# 162438921) is placed in the wrong cemetery. I recently saw the marker in the photo you posted. It's actually in Mt. Pleasant Cemetery in Ross County, Ohio and is a cenotaph. I'm assuming the marker was placed there before his remains were located. By just changing to the correct cemetery and noting his Arlington National Cemetery memorial (#155113579) should fix the problem (placing a link in his bio to his Arlington memorial would work too).
There seems to be differing information regarding Lt. Pile's place of death. You may want to refer to these websites as they might be useful:
Just wanted to bring these things to your attention. Hope all is well. - Jim

No I'm not related to Dudley or his wife. I did, however, research his military service, and some personal information, in 2008 and obtain a headstone for him in Oakwood Cemetery.
Feel free to email me.

They are my husband's great grandparents, and he wants to keep them for now. We're glad you're interested in family genealogy.

Your welcome. His parents, Sarah and McDonald are buried directly across the road.

You are welcome. Glad I could take the photo for you. I also posted Minnie Bee Yeatts to her memorial.
