I live in Lincoln County, Wisconsin and have been working on my family tree since about 2005. I set about to document burials in the local rural cemeteries a year or so ago with a special focus on the Latvian community, a project which is not yet complete.

I prefer to be easy-going when it comes to transfers as the Find-A-Grave transfer guidelines are just that ... guidelines. I don't understand, nor do I want to be, one of those contributors who feels the need to follow those guidelines as if they're written in stone, especially if I have no familial connection to that individual whatsoever. I believe each memorial should be with someone in their own tree so if I transfer a memorial of an aunt, uncle or cousin, and some time later someone more closely related wants management of that memorial, at least it's in the family (sorta like family taking care of family). Also, this website is evolving into something greater than it was originally intended as many "family genealogists" are striving to link all members of their family tree so others in their tree who find ancestry.com too confusing to navigate can follow their roots and "meet" their relatives through those links, obituary or biography. It is disconcerting that there are hoarders on this website (and you know who you are!) who lack respect for the memorials they manage, and the family members of those individuals memorialized, by the act of hoarding (this also goes for contributors who ignore requests for editing, linking, etc.)! So, if I have any memorials that are not in my own family tree, or are quite distant from me in my tree, I will be happy to transfer upon request. All I ask is that, in your request via the EDIT tab on the memorial, you be honest with me in how you are related to them (I ask only out of curiosity's sake) and that you promise to take good care of them when they are yours!

I try to be as accurate as possible but, nonetheless, mistakes happen. If you see any errors, please let me know so I can make a correction. If you have additional information, I would be happy to add it should you not want a transfer.

I am always excited when I help someone find a family member or if someone helps me find a family member. So if there's anything I can help you with here in Lincoln County, feel free to contact me.

To those gracious individuals who have linked memorials when requested and/or have transferred memorials to my care, I greatly appreciate it - you guys are the best and make this website what it is ... positively awesome!

Thank you,

Sheryl

Helen's headstone
Hi,
I added Helen before I saw the photo request. I'm sorry. Am new at this. Should of looked to see if you had a photo request for her but I wanted to get the photo on there right away. So her headstone is on the memorial.

Hi,
I got the pics of Augusta and Max Hirsch, so I got those fulfilled for you. I have also taken some photos for someone who had photo requests for Anton L. Hirsch, which is Max and Augusta's son. Also have pics of their grandsons, Donald and James. Just thought I would let you know.

RE: Watts Photo Requests
This is correct. However, the link on Find A Grave doesn't allow me to select Wanderers Rest in Oconto County, so I selected the one that came up. I think that you have the correct one, because Rebecca lived in Gillett. Thank you for helping me on this! ++Lisa

Runge
Thank you for the Runge photos. We appreciate your time in searching for the sites, taking the photos and posting them and adding extra Runges. You have made us happy. I will have Denise work on the two you do not have posted.

RE: Lambrecht Family
I found Ferdinand in Pine Grove cemetery and have requested a transfer. Why he is there, I don't know. David Allen Lambrecht born 12-17-1939 Merrill and died 12-23-1938 family says he is buried at the Merrill cemetery. I hope you can find him. Do you have any plot numbers to add? The family there goes right to the spot but we don't get there. Thanks again.
