I came on genealogy through the back door of my research on the woodworking mills of my hometown of Swanzey, NH. I have multiple generations on both sides of my family that were mill owners. I make my home in a converted warehouse of a bucket shop started by my great-great grandfather C.L. Lane.|
I volunteer at the Historical Society of Cheshire County in Keene, NH and it was through a research project there that I learned about findagrave.com. My wife and I love exploring cemeteries and this gives us a chance to help some folks.

Thank you for posting photos of the grave of my great-grandfather Leslie Leman White and of his wife, Hattie Knight. What a serendipitous event to search and there is an image for his grave.
This gave me an opportunity to post photos of them in life.
Next time up, I will take photos of my grandfather's grave (Ernest D. White) and all three of his wives, buried with him. Must be some interesting conversations down there. :)
Thanks and Best Regards,

May I have your permission to download the photo of the gravestone of Amasa Aldrich (memorial #49578135)?
I would like to upload it into my Ancestry family tree.
Thank you for your consideration.

Thank you for the info on the cemetery book. I did find trees on Ancestry also. There are some trees there that have Joanna married to Isaiah and to Silas Dean and with the wrong parents. There were 2 Joanna Whitcombs (at least) in this period in MA. I requested 3 additional photos for Robert, Ruth and Noah Hatch at Westminster.
