Find-A-Grave is a great web site. It allows one to search for an ancestor without having a local cemetery index book.|
We know how difficult it is to research when living out of state. We have met many helpful people that we consider friends and family. That is the reason we enjoy giving back by being a Photo Volunteer.
Over the years we have collected some 6,000 photos. In an attempt to not have them lost and forgotten, we are placing them here on Find-A-Grave for others searching to find. When we find that a Memorial Page has not yet been created, we will create one. If someone is your family and you wish to manage their Memorial Page we would be happy to transfer them to you.

|Mary Ransom||RE: Lewis Griffin|
Thank You so much for your reply.
Do you by any chance have the contact info for the Great Grandson?
There is zero documentation out there.
If he is like many of us researching we take an about guess if we do not have the exact date. I am trying to find the correct information if possible for all of us who are searching.
|Mary Ransom||Lewis Griffin|
You have Lewis Griffin b. 1829 and no death date. He is #43722740.
Do you have any information as to where this date came from.
My husband's mother is the Griffin and I have been connecting them on Find a Grave. I have to thank you so much for all that you do.
It seems there is a bit of confusion over who is married to Jane Helms.
Our Griffin Family Record has Jane Helms as married to our Lewis.
I am maryransom63 on Ancestry. I have info on Lewis Griffin b. Nov. 28, 1834 Ga. Death June 29, 1871 (Pension ).
Census:1850 Living with his Family Cass County, Ga.
1860: Al. Living with George Clifton Family "Blacksmith) birth abt. 1835 Ga. listed.
1862: Enlisted in same regiment as George T Clifto48th Al. Co H
1866 Al. State Census: Joel Helms next door and GT Clifton 2 doors away.
1870 Listed as "Blacksmith" as in 1860 census. Birth date again listed about 1836 Ga.. Living with Jane and Joel L Griffin.
The brother of Lewis is Ransom Lafayette Griffin born 1840 in Cherokee County, Al.
Another brother William Franklin accidentally shot and killed himself in 1861 on his way back from Cherokee Co., Al. visiting his brother. Possible a marriage.
I have not found any existing documentation that the husband of Jane Helms was born in 1829. Her husband was several years older but possibly someone took a guess since she was born ca. 1830 that her husband was approx. the same age.
Sorry to bother you with so much info. I am just trying to track another Griffin. Not an easy task. Have Griffin DNA also.
Sincerely, Mary Ransom

|Richard David Wright||Request to manage 75497649|
I would like to request to manage memorial 75497649, my great uncle Jackson Joseph Nunnally.
There are several mistakes with the siblings.
The siblings listed are actually cousins.

|Fran Billings||Paul David Taylor|
Hi, my name is Frances Billings. Could you possibly correct the record of Paul David Taylor as he is listed as son of Samuel Brantley and Ellen Taylor. He is grandson of Samuel Brantley and Ellen Taylor. He is the son of Bert Adrian and Pearl Elizabeth Taylor. Bert and Pearl are my grandparents. Paul was my uncle. Thank you so much for your work.
|Richard David Wright||RE: Wrong photo on site|

|Richard David Wright||Wrong photo on site|
The photo on 75497649 is not Jackson Nunnally. It is Early Pierce Wright. If you click on, Early Pierce Wright on that site and go to Early Pierce Wright's site, you will see another photo posted by Wanda Stewart. In the photo is a tall man with a hat, a lady holding a baby. The tall man is Jackson Nunnally, the lady is Lou Bynum Wright, and the baby is Zelma Wright.
Wanda has the photos reversed.
The photo on Early Pierce Wright's which was posted by E.L. Wright, Ph.D., is the a photo of Early Pierce Wright. Jackson Nunnally married my grandmother's sister and Uncle Jackson's father married one of my great-great aunts.
Wanda is also related to me through the Wright family line.

|Carl Kilgore||Kilgore Graves at Crestwood|
Thank you so much for posting the grave site of my paternal grandparents, Carl and Corrie Kilgore. I did not know my grandfather, but "Mama Corrie" was a very special lady and grandmother to several, several grandchildren in the Kilgore family.
