Started Feb 2014. I have made mistakes but not on purpose! You can use my pictures, it is to honor the lives of those once lived.|
I respect the dead and they deserve to have their information correct. I always search before making a memorial but there have been several times they don't show up, then they do. Unknown burials a lot of times do not show up on regular searches.
I don't mind transferring any relative or friend as long as they are not in my tree. I regret not keeping my family separate, it is hard to get to their memorials.
FaGers like Graves, Nolagirl, Mike and Bushy Hartman, Joseph Mann, Barbara Munson, Ancestors, RockTalker, I have the up-most respect for their work. I consistently run across their work and it's such a blessing to me. I just want to bless others AS THEIR work helps me find so many of my ancestors.
I appreciate this site and the work FaGers do. Thanks to each one of you and may God Bless us all, especially those of us that care enough to do it right.

Thank you for that. I do try and if you ever find a mistake please let me know.Dee
I got your message about Camille and her marriage record. Since that appears to be the only document you have found with the Marie... I think it might be best to keep the name as it is on the tomb stone but I added a memo in her bio about it. If you and/or your sister find more that shows the name should be updated, we can tackle it later.
Also, if you or your sister ever find a memorial that you want to take over, please send me an email to let me know. As long as I am unrelated, I will transfer to you or her...

This is all I have on James L. Flowers. He was born on 7/15/1826 in Smithdale, MS. the census of 1850 list him as a schoolmaster. He married Cynthia Eliza Bales on 1/2/1851. They had at least on son. Russell Flowers who died when he was two and is buried in the Flowers Cemetery. No grave marker for him at that Cemetery.
A land plat in Chancery Clerks's office at Liberty, MS showes that in the early 1850's owned considerable real estate in Township 4 Range 6 West. But all that property was sold and he left Amite County about 1854 to go to Alabama. His younger brother Ephraim W. Flowers (my 2XGreat grandfather) around the end of the Civil War.
Nothing else was heard of after that.
Hope this helps.

Please check your listings for Hope Mausoleum. Is they died before 1931/32 they are most likely buried at St. John's. Refer to both cemetery's front pages for more information.
thank you, and have a great day.....

Glad you could follow my research on your Uncle Louis Zettwoch. My great great grandmother was Hannah Gildea wife of James C. Muherin. Between her obituary and Catherine's I was able to track down the rest of the family, which was a bit of a problem with each of the siblings (well, David wasn't too hard to follow.) Mary Gildea Zettwoch was the last one I pinned down. It looks like the family that settled in PA came over around 1865 but Mary had to have arrived earlier as she had her first born in LA in 1862. I haven't been able to find anything definative as to immigration records.

Thank you for your help and corrections, Judy. I see we are connected through the Ehrhard/Favret line. If you want to share any information or have any questions that I may have answers to please contact me.

You are such a special person to take time out to say thank you, it makes my day and made me smile. May you always find what you seek.
Have a fabulous day my friend.

Thank you for your vigilance in locating the cemetery and trying to find his gravestone. You are most awesome! I do have his death certificate, which shows he was buried there.
|Tammy Hartman||RE: Ferguson|
Thanks so much for looking. WJ "Bill" Ferguson is
my 2nd great grandfather. Annie is his third wife. I am trying to find out as much information on Sylvia Bell Hall Ferguson as she is my great grandmother. I send for her death certificate and it was helpful. But I was hoping that the headstone or cemetery record would have additional information.
|Dennis N. Fitzsimmons||RE: Townley in Liberty Cemetery Greenwood AR|
Judy - thank you so much for attempting to find the grave for Hugh Harper Townley, my great grandfather. I had come across some notes belonging to my grandmother Mary T. Townley that Hugh, her father, was buried in Liberty Cemetery. She was only about 10 years old when he passed away, so it is possible she was mistaken. I established the memorial in hopes of confirming that he was buried there. Thank you again for your efforts, I very much appreciate it.
