I have found Emil Schmidt in Guadalupe Valley Memorial Cemetery in Guadalupe County, Tx, (not Comal County) and have the plot location for you as well. If you could change the "County" and the cemetery to Guadalupe Valley, then that would be helpful. I can post the photographs of the stone for you. I will also send over the plot information so that you can have a more complete memorial.
