It has been a joy to work on Find-A-Grave during the last 6 years. I have tried to mainly enter memorials that I have photographed, because I feel that photo's don't lie. In our area there have been quite a few entries to Find-A-Grave using old handwritten surveys. I appericate the effort that was taken to get these surveys & the effort to enter them on Find-A-Grave, but the people that entered them made many mistakes and have caused families, looking for their loved ones, to not be able to find them. I hope that my photographs have cleared up some of the mess. If you need corrections please use the edit on the memorial. I will transfer, to releatives within the guidelines of Find-A-Grave. I do not link to unknown burials (please read Find A Graves rules for unknown burials) Location of body unknown is used for recent deaths where the disposition is not currently known. Final disposition must be determined and updated within 30 days. |
My main family work is Meador, DeCocq, Sellers, Sanders, Graham, Turner, Lee, Johnson, Devin, & Stephens
God Bless Everyone that has helped me!!!
For some that don't get the hint. I am a Meador, My mother is a Sellers, My Grandmothers were Sanders & Graham. My G-Grandmothers were Lee, Turner, Stephens & Lucas. My wife is a DeCocq & her grandmothers are Bucklin, Johnson & Hastings
PLEASE DO NOT USE MY PHOTOGRAPHS on any site that you have to pay to get into the site. I took the photographs for the entire world to use for free!
I spent my time photographing, editing & entering them for their family so they might see what they look like now. I did not take them for someone that does not care about them one bit except to make a profit! Richard Glenn Meador

|Cindy & Sarah||Deaton & Margaret Meador|
I have looked into the photo request for Deaton & Margaret. There is no Brush Creek Cem. in Wayne Co. IL. You list it as being in Zenith but Zenith is in Clay Co. IL. I do see Find A Grave has a Brush Creek in Xenia, IL which is just east of Zenith. I looked through all the cemetery books for Wayne Co. and there are only 2 Meador's listed for the entire county and they were not Deaton or Margaret. You might want to check out the Brush Creek in Xenia.
|Peggy Mac||Martha Childers Moore memorial|
Thanks for adding the bio to Martha Childers Moore's memorial. Her life in the Civil War was certainly painful. I've not been able to locate her father's grave (killed by bushwhackers along with his son)..... but many of my family members in NW Arkansas sort of "disappeared from the records" between 1860 and 1880.
Thx for the help.
|Monica Buvick Little||RE: Re Columbus Julius|
Hi ~ This is my father-in-law's maternal family. His great grandfather is one of the triplets, John R Robertson. The reference data for Columbus Julius Robertson is the Arkansas Death Index 1914-1950. His name is incorrectly spelled & listed as Julius Col Robinson. Please let me know if my information is incorrect. Thank you.
|Marie Stuard||Polly Ovington Meador|
Hi, just wondering if you've heard of Polly Ovington the Indian that was married to Jacob(Joab) Meador? They come off the the Josiah Meador line in southern WV as I do also from my mothers side of the family. Never have located their graves or any pics of her. Of course she's in my genealogy papers. They lived in Giles County which was VA at that time. Thanks for any help.

I couldn't find Annie and there were no unmarked graves near William.
|seeker||Donald Mark Reese, Sr.|
Thank you for adding his headstone photograph! He was a beloved brother in law, who passed too soon and is greatly missed by my family and I.

|Ralph Terry||John Henry and David Lee Sanders|
John Henry Sanders, Jr. and David Lee Sanders were infant Negro (colored) babies of John H. and Annie (Howard) Sanders. They are buried in an unmarked graves, probably in the east part of Map Page 3, Section II or Map Page 4, Section II. All of the early Negro burials were in these sections of the Coleman Cemetery.
Let me know if I can be of further help.
