It has been a joy to work on Find-A-Grave during the last 6 years. I have tried to mainly enter memorials that I have photographed, because I feel that photo's don't lie. In our area there have been quite a few entries to Find-A-Grave using old handwritten surveys. I appericate the effort that was taken to get these surveys & the effort to enter them on Find-A-Grave, but the people that entered them made many mistakes and have caused families, looking for their loved ones, to not be able to find them. I hope that my photographs have cleared up some of the mess. If you need corrections please use the edit on the memorial. I will transfer, to releatives within the guidelines of Find-A-Grave. I do not link to unknown burials (please read Find A Graves rules for unknown burials). |
My main family work is Meador, DeCocq, Sellers, Sanders, Graham, Turner, Lee, Johnson, Devin, & Stephens
God Bless Everyone that has helped me!!!
For some that don't get the hint. I am a Meador, My mother is a Sellers, My Grandmothers were Sanders & Graham. My G-Grandmothers were Lee, Turner, Stephens & Lucas. My wife is a DeCocq & her grandmothers are Bucklin, Johnson & Hastings

|James Light||Elijah Sanders|
First, thank you for all the contributions you have made to Find A Grave. I really appreciate your contributions. Second, could you please share with me how you know that the parents of Elijah Sanders (1775-1829) are Henry Sanders and Ruth Walker.

|Don Littlepage||wrong name|
hello, on #30855136 you have Gertrude Ann. It should be Gertrude Laura.You may want to correct that. Have a great day.
|Jane J. Hinkle||Henry Kirk|
I went to Oak Cemetery and could not find stones for Henry Kirk or wife Georgia Kirk. I did find a stone for Marvin Kirk (their son) who did not have a findagrave page so I made one. Henry and Georgia's graves are supposed to be to the right of Marvin Kirk's grave and there are no stones for them. Sorry.

Thank You! for your hard work in the documentation for my immediate 'Meadors' and their extensions in Sabine Co. I haven't been on here for a while and I can tell a big difference in the information. I myself had much more pics and info to add..I will be getting back with you on transfer requests after I see who all to request from you. I'm in E TN now and it would be so hard for my Texas research if not for you volunteers. Thank you again :)
|Nedra Fortune||William Meador and Sarah Stults Meador|
My brain took a holiday when I accepted your update to connect William to Sarah. I had to take it out because Sarah (Stults) is not his mother. Reason's first wife is the mother of William (Billy) J. Meador. We don't for sure who she is.
|Susan Kimes Burgess||Phoro of Grave marker|
Thank you for taking the time to get a photo of Sarah C. Lester Wright's grave marker and posting it to her memorial.
