That's me; 47347398, and you might as well transfer both Ruth Schichlers - I have about 60 members of the family linked on Facebook, and we are sorting everyone out in the Monroe County boneyards. I am doing the Find-A-Grave end, and a couple of cousins are going to go on site again, just to verify.

Thank you for your help
Hi Robert,

Thank you for responding to my request for a photo of the grave of John Shobert (b. abt. 1825 in Bavaria Germany, d. abt. 1854 in Greece, NY) at Falls Cemetery in Greece, NY.

My information about the location of his grave came from an Oral History given by his grand daughter in 1977. With the help of Richard Halsey of the Rochester Genealogy Society and Shirley Nixon, historian for the Town of Ogden, we determined that the Falls Cemetery is the Cemetery where John Shobert was buried. His grave may or may not still have a headstone. With information from the oral history and Shirley's help we located and visited the burial places for the remainder of Johns Family.

I visited Shirley Nixon in 1996 and she told me that the Cemetery Records at Falls Cemetery were destroyed by fire in 1939, the only other source of burial records may be the person that has the burial permits and according to Shirley, wasn't willing to share that information.

Thanks again for your help, my quest continues.

Parrish markers
These aren't my memorials but I was hoping there were markers that would give some information about my ancestors. Thanks for letting me know they aren't marked. I was really hoping Abigail would have a marker since the memorial seemed to indicate there was an inscription. It's also possible there was a marker at one time and it's no longer present.
I appreicate your help.
