Bio and Links
Bio Photo One of the best features of Find A Grave is that it provides a forum where years of genealogical research can be shared with others. Please let me know if you have additional biographical or statistical information for any of my memorials, as it is always welcome. The wealth of knowledge that others have sent to me through Find A Grave is astounding.

If you are aware of links for parents and/or spouses that I have not yet added, I would appreciate it if you would use the edit tab to leave the name and memorial number of the person or people who should be linked.

Thanks to all those who have generously shared your family stories and beautiful photos with me. I sincerely appreciate being allowed to add them to the memorials for your loved ones. The pictures and studio portraits that for years have been carefully preserved in family photo albums, add such a wonderful dimension to Find A Grave. They help create a memorial tribute that is all the more special and meaningful.

Before asking for a memorial transfer, please determine whether or not this is really necessary. Transfers of management should only be requested if you have extensive changes to make to a memorial. You can add photos and suggest corrections even if you are not the memorial manager. Simply having someone in your family tree is not grounds for a transfer request. It would be impossible for all contributors to manage their entire family trees.

Transfers will only be considered if they comply strictly with Find A Grave guidelines. You must state your exact relationship to the deceased. People who request transfers and then fail to improve and maintain the memorial are certainly not honoring the memory of their family member.

Bulk surname transfers will not be considered under any circumstances.

Unless otherwise noted, all bios on my memorials were researched and written by me. Post-1922 verbatim obituaries have not been included in order to avoid copyright violations.

I have put a lot of time and effort into my memorials on Find A Grave. I strive to make sure that the information on them is as accurate as possible, but I am realistic and know that mistakes do happen. Please use the edit tab to leave a message regarding any errors or omissions that need to be corrected.

By working together, we can continue to build Find A Grave into a better and better site!

Note: 30 Sep 2013 marked a very sad day for all Find A Grave contributors when the founder of this website sold us out to

I will continue to add to and maintain my memorials as long as Find A Grave remains a completely free website, open to all without charge.

Find A Grave Memorial# 76155222 Everett O Martin
Thank you, Lisa,

You've certainly done your homework here. Are you related to this line?

I do need to put a note to update E. O.'s information. btw, he intentionally reversed his name when he went into the Army because he didn't care for "Oscar". The date was just an error somewhere along the way as Bible records also have it as 1893

Thanks for the help.

RE: Minnie Morrill
I agree with you. Death Certificates can have many mistakes, and you are probably correct for her burial, makes perfect sense that she would be buried with her husband. I will delete the memorial I made for her.

Delete memorial
I don't usually post them if there is no death date. I must have had my heads in the clouds that day! Don't want to cause anguish for anyone.
Thanks again, Becky

RE: Eugene Kruckeberg
I sent an email to both of you explaining the duplication. We'll see what happens.

Thanks to you for the kind words and all you do for Findagrave.

RE: Goldie Irene (Cox) Jones Govreau
Thank you for your reply. I need a record of the obituary as it must be an official record, such as a newspaper for this DAR application. Is it possible to send me the obit that appeared in the paper? If so, I will send my email address.

Thank you so much for posting the obituary for Goldie. Do you know which newspaper it appeared in? I am filling out a DAR application for one of Goldie's descendents and need the reference.

RE: Charles Pellikaan
Lynn - I see you lost his grave photo in the process - I saved it to my computer and can add it if you would like, however, I didn't take the photo - the person who made the original memorial did. I did see that yours was made before that one, but it was in the correct cemetery, so didn't know the protocol. Also didn't know that you could make memorials for findagrave without knowing the cemetery!

I found Greenwood Cemetery from his obituary in the Clarksville paper - it also ran in the Calhoun pape, and a search turned up the memorial.

Thanks for fixing it. Nice to see the Pellikaans together.

I am crying with the memories. Thank you for incorporating into the memorial page. They were indeed wonderful people. Millie started off there as a bookkeeper and Willie started as a delivery man. For a short time, they even employed my father as a delivery boy. My father was 9 years younger than Willie. Thanks for the tears-they are good.
