Bio Photo "The richness of life lies in memories we have forgotten." -- Cesare Pavese

It's been an honor and a pleasure working with you all!

by Dinah Maria Mulock Craik

Oh, the comfort-the inexpressible comfort of feeling safe with a person
Having neither to weigh thoughts,
Nor measure words-but pouring them
All right out-just as they are-
Chaff and grain together-
Certain that a faithful hand will
Take and sift them-
Keep what is worth keeping-
And with the breath of kindness
Blow the rest away.

photo requests
Janine, thank you for telling me about the lack of notifications for completed photo requests. That would explain why my list of requests is about half what is was. I had no idea this was going on.

Hopefully this is not a sign of bad things to come, since bought this site. They have ruined their own website to the point where it is unusable.

Thanks for any and all photos you recently posted for me. Find a Grave is not sending notifications when photo request are fulfilled right now! I just noticed that the rest of my Fiatt and Wiley photos have been taken care of. If I missed any others please know I appreciate it and will find them eventually. Have you done other photography in Fulton lately?

Thank you so much for the photos. Must be a glitch on Find A Grave as I didn't get notification that request was fulfilled, but noticed they were off my request list. Thank you again!

Janine, thank you so much for the search for Charles and Bertha. I came across a handwritten note claiming that both were buried in East Midway, but as is often the case, it was obviously incorrect.

RE: John & Alice Anderson
Janine, 30 seconds after I sent that last note, I said, that's not Amy, that's Janine and I check to see if I did in fact address it to Amy, and I sure did. Sorry about that!! So, Janine, I do hope this finds you well and take heart, I know springs going to be here to stay sooner or later, though I do think we are going to see more snow, and the warm weather should think the molasses out in both of us. Thanks, for all you have done for me and the 86th Janine. Wish we could get all of One Foot In The Grave together some time in a local cemetery. Even though I only actually met him once in person, I miss John. Take care and sorry about addressing that last note to Amy instead of Janine. I knew better. Baxter

I want to Thank You for taking the time to search out and photograph the tombstone of John and Alice Anderson, whose mortal remains were laid in the Pleasant Grove Cemetery in Eden, Peoria County, Illinois, for their Find A Grave sites. Ross Elmer Lundry
Thank you for the photo of Mr. Lundry's stone. I think I'll forever be finding more connections to my Fiatt family. :)

Thanks again!
