You're welcome Wendy! I didn't realize that was her parents' stone in the background there...I was just trying to get the whole flag in the shot!
I also have a photo of the small plaque that's in the ground immediately to the right of the stone; did you want me to post that on her memorial page? It has a photo of her and the burial service info.

Hi! I was in Florida two weeks ago looking for my grandfather because I had gotten no where over the phone. I have the death certificate and the obituary; however, the funeral home "says" they have no record of him and neither do the cemeteries. While I was at the funeral home and one of the cemeteries they did not even look up the name for me. Guy at the cemetery just looked on "Find A Grave" - had card catalog drawers sitting there but didn't look in them. I even went to the court house and asked in the records department. They said that they had nothing. Is this common in Florida? I have not had any issues like this in the Midwest. Was wondering what the laws are in Florida for keeping records. Any assistance you could give me would be appreciated. Thank you, Cook

Hi! I checked with Cedar Dale Cemetery again today and there is still not a headstone for Gerry at this time. Cook

Thank you for the family history you sent on Christine "Barbara" Barth. I see your maiden name is Vogt...that means we are related! I married a Barth here in Seward County and now my married name is...Barbara Barth! Almost a little creepy to go to the cemetery and take a photo of that stone :-)
Anyway, I've added your info to the memorial and given you credit. Thanks again Wendy!
