I became interested in genealogy when I had to put together a small family tree for my Sociology class in college over 15 years ago. I was bitten by the bug and haven't stopped since then. |
My kids, Anne (10) and Orion (8), help me out a lot with the photo lookups. We home-school and lookups have been a great way to get out and run off some energy, plus learn about history. Hopefully we'll be able to get to most of the graveyards around us this summer.
I've listed some of my brick walls, if you're related or have any ideas on them, leave me a note.
And remember, 100 years from now, someone may be looking for YOU. Please print your digital pictures off and label them!
<< I don't mind if you use my photos, unless they are on memorials which I personally manage. Please let me know if you would like to use pics from these. Thanks!>>

Thank you for your kindness to post memorial flowers to Jeremiah York I.
We have discovered and marked the grave site for our 6th great grandfather Jeremiah YORK I (1683-1765) immigrant from England. He is believed to be buried by his son Semore York where we have found a grave site with a white flint rock for a head stone. According to Semore York's 1782 Will his father lived (near the church) on 120A of Semore's original land grant. You are invited to a memorial tombstone installment on Saturday April 1, 1-3 pm at the Sandy Creek Baptist Church Cemetery. Lunch is being served by the Church and tours given.
Hope to see you there.

I have just started researching the Welch/Welsh family tree and have come to an end at Eli Welsh (Find A Grave #107911700). Would you have any additional info that you can pass along?
|Kenneth Britton||RE: William Henry & Clara Zelma (Glover) Threet|
OK any help you can give me would be appreciated on any of the Threet family. I am researching all my lines from different angles so help is greatly needed. Thanks

Hell Kirsten, I too am a family genealogist and you are part of my tree. I was wondering if you have the obits for the above. I would like to have them for my files. I try to find as many family members as possible and keep my tree as up to date as possible and since you research and are from this line I would like to get info from you from time to time and you can use anything that I have on Ancestry.com. I am not a current member of Ancestry but hope to back on soon. Thanks

|Jaycie Smith||Eli Welsh|
Hello! I'm just leaving a friendly note to share a relation to Eli Welch. Eli's great-grandson through Hugh and then Leander Welch is William Benton Welch. W.B. Welch would be my great-great-grandfather. Thanks for all the work you've done researching Eli, including his memorial.

May I use your photos of the Fuson family on my Ancestry tree? I would, of course, give you the credit.

She was buried in the Marshall Cemetery and not the Zion Cemetery. I think you will have to make the changes.
