|Bio and Links|
I was born and raised in Vigo County, Indiana, and joined the Air Force at an early age. After two careers (USAF and U.S. Capitol Police), two marriages (death and divorce) and wonderful children AND grandchildren, I completely retired and relocated to North Carolina. I enjoy searching the past..., for myself and others.|
I also enjoy being a contributor to this excellent website. When visiting cemeteries for my own purposes or upon request, I will usually photograph and add several other graves from that visit. I feel that they too have a story to tell and will hopefully be found by a loved one. If my entries prove incorrect or incomplete, or you would prefer to replace with your own data, please let me know. I am always willing to make a change for the improvement of a memorial. I will also consider reasonable requests for transfer. Please use the EDIT tab on the applicable memorial(s). PLEASE DO NOT PLACE A DEATH RECORD ON THE MEMORIALS THAT I MANAGE. If you feel that something pertinent is on the record that I have overlook in the bio, send me an EDIT request.
I do not display a list of Find A Grave Friends..., there are far too many. Rest assured, if you have helped me or I have helped you, then you ARE My Friend.
ADDENDUM: Photographs I have taken at burial locations may be used by others for any legitimate purpose (excluding reposting on other findagrave memorials). Hopefully, I would be given credit for the work. However, personal photographs I have placed on memorials that I created, maintain or posted otherwise, unless specified in that content, remain in my control and are considered copyrighted materials.
But I do hope that you will enjoy viewing the personal photographs I have posted, especially those of my deceased wife COLLEEN, my DAD, MOTHER and our extended family, including the Mother and Father of my second wife and her extended family.

Thank you for the pictures of the location for Betty Deaton memorial site. We are grateful for your time and efforts for this. This allows us to see the location even if there is not a memorial marker. Again, thank you for your help. Take care. God bless.

Thank you for posting the photo to the memorial of William Thomas Dalton.
May you have a wonderful day in Our Blessed Lord,
|Marsha Williams Byrd of Missouri||Hello|
You are very welcome. I to like to leave flowers on service men's Memorials as well as all else. My brother-in-law fought in Vietnam and now has a lot of issues due to Agent Orange. I am sure every war leaves these special men and women with something. Marsha
Thank-you for taking pictures of the Riddles' headstones. I really appreciate it.
Thank you for the photos added to Debbie's memorial. Since you have sponsored and also know the family, I have transferred memorial to you.

|Joan Pacitti||Dorothy Heldman's memorial|
Hi David: I added Mrs. Heldman's information on her memorial. After I added everything and linked everyone, I noticed that someone else may have entered her name in a long time ago. The date of birth is 1915, though, not 1918. The date of death is UNKNOWN. I think if you check the first memorial, and look at the gravestone, her husband's name is on the stone too.
I don't know if you live near St. Bridget's Cemetery, but if you do, you might one to take a current photo of the gravestone. If you don't live close by, maybe I can do it as I'm a parishioner of St. Bridgets.
Just let me know. I won't do anything unless I hear from you.
By the way, Evening Breeze who originally posted Mrs. Heldman's memorial is no longer active.
Take care and thanks for ALL of the information you provided.
|David Tate||RE: Obits of Ira and Ailcy Chitwood Kent|
I obtained the copies of the obits of Ira and Ailcy (Chitwood) Kent as part of my documentation search for Rhoda J Kent who was buried in the Lampkins Cemetery. One of my current projects is to add onto Find A Grave some documentation for all of those buried in the Lampkins Cemetery. I was hoping that these two obits would confirm (i.e., cross reference) the information that was provided in Rhoda's obit, but they did not.

Hello David. You sent the following:
Hi - As I noted on EDITS of husband George, I also have an obit for Etta. Let me know if I should send..., holding for two weeks.
Answer: Yes, please send obits or other info to any memorials I have. I feel it is important for those searching for their ancesters, thanks and regards.
