Bio and Links
Bio Photo I was born and raised in Terre Haute, Indiana, and joined the Air Force at an early age. After two careers (USAF and U.S. Capitol Police), two marriages (death and divorce) and wonderful children AND grandchildren, I completely retired and relocated to North Carolina. I enjoy searching the past..., for myself and others.

I have also enjoyed being a contributor to this excellent website. Although Father Time is "catching up, I still periodically visit cemeteries for my own purposes or upon request to photograph and add to graves from that visit. I feel that each memorial I create has a story to tell and will hopefully be found by a loved one. If my entries prove incorrect or incomplete, or you would prefer to replace with your own data, please let me know. I am always willing to make a change for the improvement of a memorial. I will also consider reasonable requests for transfer. Please use the EDIT tab on the applicable memorial(s).

PLEASE DO NOT PLACE A DEATH RECORD ON THE MEMORIALS THAT I MANAGE. If you feel that something pertinent is on the record that I have overlooked in the bio, send me an EDIT request.

PLEASE DO NOT PLACE MULTIPLE PHOTOS OF THE SAME MARKER, AREA, ETC., ON A MEMORIAL. Remember that only five slots are allocated for photographs and excessive photographs of one item may, regretfully, exclude the addition of personal photographs at a later date. It would be nice to receive notice, via EDIT, when any photo is placed on a memorial that I maintain. Thanks in advance.

I do not display a list of Find A Grave Friends..., there are far too many. Rest assured, if you have helped me or I have helped you, then you ARE My Friend.

ADDENDUM: Photographs I have taken at burial locations may be used by others for any legitimate purpose (excluding reposting on other Find A Grave memorials). Hopefully, I would be given credit for the work. Please be aware that personal photographs of family, etc., may fall within the purview of copyright as stated in the Find A Grave guidelines.

Please feel free to view the memorials and the personal photographs I have posted, especially those of my deceased wife COLLEEN, my DAD, MOTHER and our extended family, including the Mother and Father of my second wife and her extended family.

Where did get the information on his parents? I think this is my step grandfathers brother Alzono Guinn, but not sure. My step grandfather was Albert Emmler Guinn - Find A Grave Memorial# 13426963. His parents are George Whitman Guinn & Mary Elizabeth Petty.

Great to meet and enjoyed the visit with you today, Dave. Let me know if I am able to assist you after my surgery as I have no idea how lengthy my recovery will take. Always glad to help, geraldine

Lafayette Wood
I'm researching Lafayette Wood who married Stella Sweeney. They had a daughter named Barbara Olive Wood who was born June 19, 1901 in Stamping Ground Kentucky. I've been looking at censuses and cemeteries, but can't find anything about Lafayette Wood or any family.

If you know of anything, I'd appreciate it.

RE: re: Blanche Turpin Durham
My apologies. I was taking pictures entire sections of Forest Lawn because it has such a low percentage of graves that have been photographed. Unfortunately, the uploader feature does not let you know if a particular grave already had existing photographs. I've removed the photos.

RE: re: Jewel Thomas Clark Turman
No, sorry, I did not see a plaque for Mr. Turman. All indications are that she is the only occupant of that crypt so, he is either still living or buried elsewhere.
